But it has already been explained to you that credit cards offer no more protection unless the purchase is over £100.00.
Key bit: "unless the purchase is over £100."

that means CC's offer more protection than DC's.

The bit about being outraged it went over the limit.
You are the only person that has used that quote.

    Please stop misquoting.

Funding you Giffgaff account from your debit card would make more sense than from your credit card, and offer just as much protection.

I expect a multi millionaire would have staff to keep an eye on such matters!

The millionaire will have an accoutant to look after the finance.

I'm not misquoting, you are. I think we're in agreement about the CC and DC issue.

Accountants are more responsible for tax affairs once a year and rarely keep such an eye on personal spending and credit cards every day;)

Well now that you have resorted to name calling rather than arguing your corner rationally, I realise yes I do have something better to do.

    Goodbye.

Can't you use the debit card linked to the bank account with a balance 3 times the limit of the credit card that was declined?

    Or have I missed something?

ya. you get more protection with a CC than a DC, thats why people use CC's

    I guess I didn't explain myself properly.

Can't you use the debit card linked to the bank account with a balance 3 times the limit of the credit card that was declined to fund your giffgaff account?

I mean DCs and CCs on a fund load carry the same rights.
