Which ones do you already know CTC?
Thanks for posting such beautiful photo's.It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

I have just seen your post CTC.
I know you know roses, sweet peas etc, so I will just list what I see that may not be obvious, but I'm sure some will be:
Pic 1
Feverfew - the daisies (or maybe Anthemis....difficult!)
Catanache caerulea - the blue flower
Sweet William
Looks like Alchemilla mollis used as a filler and maybe some Ammi or Gypsophila (possibly dyed) Also some Fennel I think.
Pic 2 is hard, but certainly there's some
Clary
Calendula
Eryngium
Campanula
Annual Chrysanthemum
Penstemon
Monarda (I wouldn't bother - it always gets mildew!)
Possibly some honeysuckle
There's a lot more!
Fillers as before
Pic 3
Clary
Bells of Ireland
Snapdragons
Cosmos
Some kind of annual delphinium (Larkspur)
Knautia macedonica (or the annual version thereof...)
Catanache again...
Will that do? I am not very good with annuals and cutting flowers!:o0 -
I love Sweet William and Sweet Peas :smileyhea
Those are the types of flowers that I would love to have growing in my garden. I have book marked Higgledy as I lost the link last year and when I looked before I was taken by the different flowers they had.
My Real Seeds catalogue arrived so I am going to relax with that and a cup of tea as soon as my gorgeous boy decides to go to sleep.
We have been given an unusual baby gift, a new living room carpetAfter my dreadful decision to have the whole house fitted with light beige the living room has always looked grubby as our kitchen leads into it and with the cats and people tramping through it is now horrid. We picked it yesterday and it should be fitted a week on Wednesday

hi all...
what a fab pressy rummer ! of much more long term use than another baby grow...;)
well today my sister came from the IOW to help me [kick my butttt] and we cleared and sorted the spare bedroom..:D
carboot pile, charity shop pile, take to house pile..
we hung some pictures and mirrors at new place and took over some furniture. so pleased with the day.
tomorrow postie is coming with big trailer to move all the plants in tubs/pots and my topiary trees etc. for me.
later on i will dig all the other plants up but i need to get some mulch in the beds there as a tad stoney and poor.
i think im more excited about transforming the garden than the house...:rotfl:
im going to have a belated xmas party in march there
CTC... those flowers look lovely. im no expert but be carefull you dont have plants that have limited blooms... some love being cut and produce non stop. some are slower or only have a short span. dave will know [shove it over to him !;) ]
LIR... IVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOUi WILL get stuff to you...
