I'm sure you did have quicker results than me. :A

I didn't grow the very fast ones this year.
June 9th was my earliest, and that was in the old tunnel with no doors.

Back end of August, I think, maybe third week.

June was so cold I dared not put them outside and they were somewhat pot bound when they went out (not enough indoor space by the time they and the curcubits shared the limited window space).

I know from past experience that toms treated to just above freezing in June respond by turning dark green and halting growth for a month or more:(.

    I want a greenhouse.

DS2 has managed to sell al his turkeys. They are getting dressed this Sunday ready for collection. He's also been picked to go to Madagascar in 2015. Which is on the same terms as DD1 when she went to Thailand. So lots of turkeys to sell and fundraising to do.

OH is well fed up its been on his bucket list to go to Madagascar and DS2 has beaten him to it!!!!

Yes, but not outdoors; in a small tunnel with no doors.

    It was 2011, I think. :D

Well done to DS2, lucielle! :T
  • Well done to Luceille..

LIR that first one is in Burry Port, which even though it is a bit of a distance away, We could de-tour off one of our pick up routes and pick it up for you, and maybe Alfie could then pick it up from us... BUT... in saying that it does seem a bit expensive for a dog basket... even with the fancy bits on the front....If that is the type you like, maybe we could all keep an eye out for you...

When we eventually get into the house... the extension is an apex roof, one and a half storeys high with one wall all glass and then half an adjoining wall glass. I cannot wait to have some plants in there. Even house plants. but I'm sort of thinking some sort of Citrus tree, or fig. What do you think would be good for an indoor room. It could be tall, but would probably need to be quite slim.

Aw, that's sweet! Thank you! I already include Alfie's patch in my search areas :o

Yeah, I think I don't like it enough looking again. But I like the idea.

I never thought a basket / dogs and grate were something I'd be so fussy about. :o

I've been awake for two nights now worring about the dog. I might be tired enough to sleep tonight. I'm on the sofa with a terrier, a greyhound and a cat all piled on top of me. ( big dog is put scrounging for treats in the kitchen...she is less worried than I am,;). As it should be! )
