I know I have been soooo stressed lately, but if it was down to stress surely it would be all over me???

I suppose people aren't all the same in their reactions, but when I had a stress-related rash after my motorbike accident with a sheep, it was all over me and more like huge lumps.

Happily, they disappeared as quickly as they appeared.

Hopefully, you have seen the pharmacist or someone who's seen this before by now.:)

    hi all.

ive just enviro man round

ive bit the bullet and given him the go ahead to contact agent.
he is going to write to him and
1.... tell him that water is still going in C pit.
2.... that the soak AWAY seems to be soaking IN
3... that he will be coming in new year to do a full survey of the house and report any repairs that need doing.[round 1 ]
4... if they dont give him a plan of action for repairs they will issue them with a formal warning which can carry a £20,000 fine.[round 2] :D

so , they can tell me to leave... BUT i have a trump card which means i dont intend to go "empty handed"....;)

i have to be realistic that they could give me the boot anytime anyway now so i may as well make sure they dont get off lightly...

    2014 is looking interesting ;):D

Good for you and Mr Environmental! :T
    I said he'd be like a terrier. :D

If your LL does serve you notice, you'll be able to string it out for at least 6 months. What's more, if Mr BUHA gets it wrong, and he hasn't got much right yet, it could be a lot longer. :p

But there again, it might not happen. Let's hope not. :)

If you need advice on this, RAS is your person. ;)

Isn't the issue that Alfie might get an order to vacate because the property isn't fit for habitation?

I cannot help thinking ousting Alfie from that place is bad news. Like cutting down a hawthorn tree or an old yew tree near the gate of a house, or removing a green man. Or something like that.

CTC - I doubt it's shingles as that goes along a nerve & you feel it. I had it along my forehead & you feel really bad, really rough indeed.

It looks rather like an allergy, but you should get it checked out. If it's itchy witch hazel is good & pretty harmless or calamine [sp?] lotion.

Rummer - hope everything is well with you. Rumlet is going to be impatient......wonder who he takes after........?;)

I've had visions of that fridge freezer all day LIR - not like me to covet, but I covet another's fridge freezer - thou must not give in to it Choille mutter, mutter, mutter.....

Lucielle - :bdaycake: Congratulations. I don't know what a stove fan is other than I am one. I love wood burners.
Hope the son has learned his lesson & Mum isn't too upsetting - it must be hard.

Alfie - I do hope they don't throw you out & reckon it's uninhabitable - that's wot happened a long time ago to a mate of mine coz he only had a cold tap.

half organised someone to cut our wood for us as saw miller still not able to use his hand since sawing half his thumb off. The person used to run a saw mill so he nows what he's doing. Went tracking him down & he's working near here clearing up storm blown trees. Loads down here.
Forecast bad again for this W/E....sick of this but it is so warm.

Old cat jumped in my morning coffee that OH had brought me in bed. His back leg went right in it poor thing, but what a mess - coffee even up the walls. Old cat seems recovered.

    Venison steak for tea....MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
    Fried onions MMMMMMmmmmmmmmm

Well, its all grim here. After such dry weather the rain cam down in sheets earlier, as if a hose was turned on, quite impressive indeed!

Hoping to make some headway with that ruddy oak tomorrow, Even a wheel barrow of it sawn and stacked is some progress.

CTC that looks a lot like the rash I always get when I get a virus that gives me a temperature (although I get it all over my back and chest) - is it itchy?

According to the NHS stress can trigger rosacea

Ordered some briquettes today to arrive next Friday, just after the sweep has been. Also emailed a stove installer to come and give us a quote :D and have spent a happy few hours browsing stove possibilities.....little things :o

    sensitive fair skin
when its hot ( doesn't even have to be sunny) my face goes red
winter and windy conditions my face goes red ( and itchy)

Couldn't get to a chemist yesterday, let alone to boots, as we had a MEGA busy day yesterday.. so went to supermarket but they dint sell Aveena in that one... sooooo I bought the supermarkets own brand of Suda cream... ( baby bum cream) which is thick and gloopy and just put loads on my face....lol... I looked like some sort of creature out of a zombie film.. I just caked my face in it... so far touch wood, the itching has far less now, so will do the same tonight, and just slap it on... not a sexy look, but hayho..

Today the clean up/sort out begins... I have worked it out.. one room a month should time it right.. when I put it like that it doesn't sound so bad.

I LOVE pan atone and usually munch it throughout the festive season I am also prone to the Morrisons Rum Truffles in the red packet, they are normally 2 for £1 and I adore them. Sadly however this year I can have a treat of sugar free jelly or oatcakes :(

Dull and damp here today too so we are going to focus on the house and get the animals sorted too. If OH ever brings the decks down then I will get the house Christmased up too :D
