    hello peeps..

ive been to hosp...hand [thumb] on the mend... doc sort of accepted my excuse for taking off the cast..:o

BUT...not sure if i mentioned i got caught up in a "free for all" of 10 hoss's yesterday ? well moral being dont enter the foray with a bucket [actually had head collars in !] and expect them to all make way....
they all started flipping hooves around and i got knocked off my feet and a tad trampled...

so i limped into hosp this morning and after thumb examination he sent me for foot xray :( and YEP....ive cracked a bone and a chip out....
doc allowed me to leave "plasterless" but on the promise if it swells/turns blue / hurts more i will return....
i think he knows my track record of detesting casts....;)

anyway, im off to visit pops and get some food in ...

oh and at scats i have just got 14 big pot plants [average £5-6.99 each] for £1 each :D:D
tho not a clue where i can fit em in .... may plant some at my old ladies likkle garden.:)

its been raining here, mainly overnight and a bit mizzley during day.

    have a good day y'all...:D

Alfie, at this rate you could be a mystery shopper for A&E!

    Peeing down here.:(

After a whole afternoon looking at kitchens yesterday, I managed to think up some excuses for missing a similar 'treat' this morning. ;) I was required for similar duties this afternoon, but as it's past 2pm and there is no sign of the party which went out 'to look at one place' I could be in the clear! :D

Our kohl rabi wasn't a great success. I think we left it too long and it got woody. :(

:( we are struggling to find a tradesman to fit our new bathroom. We have contacted many that came recommended and they are dragging their heels about coming to quote and the ones that did come to quote have yet to send us a quote.

It is starting to take the sparkle off it a bit as we are keen to just get it organised and preferably started asap. We even put our details on a local trade site and only got one show of interest. I would have thought a bathroom refit would be good job? Quick and reasonable money? Sigh.

I can see us having to do the thing ourselves which is what we wanted to avoid :(
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!

My dear, it's not tiles nowadays, but glass decor panels. ;)

Though where the sockets go, I'm not sure! They don't seem to have that many in the showrooms. :rotfl:

  • went to the doctors this morning,

told them I fainted, lips went blue, saying I am getting dizzy spells, and I feel 'on edge' so to speak, and getting hot etc..

she took my blood pressure ' fine' listened to my heart 'fine' mentioned a blood test, and didn't book me in, and said I have vertigo.

So do you get blue lips, and feeling on edge with that????

Given me tablets to help ' balance' my inner ears

Push for a blood test - I had similar symptoms about 10 years ago and turned out I had a rare blood disorder! The GP initially thought it was vertigo/inner ear infection, but sent me for a blood test to rule anything else out. Very glad she did, am completely cured now.

My experience with doctors is that they are useless. I know of several people who either died, or nearly died, due to misdiagnosis, or a doctor refusing to examine them. So yes, push for a blood test.
