CTC, is it weird I think that the 'ty Bach' is really lovely looking? I'd use it as a writing shed if I could!

How do you pronounce that phonetically? Anyone want to try and type it?

Dave - I would love some if there is a plant going spare as we were going to set up a patch of it this year :D

Choille I meant to thank you again for the plants you sent me, the buddleias flowered this year and the brush (??) is doing well too.

I feel a bit guilty as people on here have sent me some lovely things over the last couple of years but I don't have any plants/things that any of you would find useful :o. If however I ever mention a plant that you would like a cutting from please let me know :)

    Hmm, if your baby sprouts.....;).

Rummer...friends share. I told dave I felt guilty and he was at pains to tell me he wanted nothing of mine. I also feel guilty all the time, Alfie gives us loads. I was delighted when we could give her the oil tank, but compared to the joyful things she gives us it felt very prosaic.

LIR, think its too small for a writing shed, In the spring will prob use it to store plant pots etc.

It is pronounced 'TEE BACH' bach as in the composer.. hope that helps...

In fact we have two of them:D one each side of the house, going back to when it was two houses...

no not in use, the toilets are well gone.. pity as I think they would have been the good old fashioned ones with the pull chain.

Once we have Cleared around the ty bach think I make it the 'quiet' part of the garden...

I am managing to pull some of the holly plants up, with roots, do you want me to send some to you??? you could just plant them up in a quiet corner and see what happens, I don't know what they are??? so if you want to take pot luck just let me know...

I'm just offering a few bits of comfrey and some seeds....not the crown jewels! Oh, and the slips of hazel for lir, when it's winter. :)

It's been a lovely day here. After the Big Breakfast we had a couple of friends visit who'd not been here for a few years. They're actually our closest neighbours due west of here, but we rarely see them socially. Like us, they battle with an acre or two of garden and some other land. It keeps them occupied too.

After that, and a little sleep caused by lunch, I actually did some work, but then friends invited us around for a barbie......Oh well, there's always tomorrow...:o

I think Daisy will be making her final trip to the vets very soon. She's still eating and drinking a little, but everything is a struggle and she's dozing 99% of the time. I hate losing her and I know she'd battle on till the end to be with us, but it's not right to prolong things. :(

It's remarkable how autistic daughter cat has blossomed in recent times. Tonight, when we were locking up the chickens, my torch picked her out in the field, just watching us, the way her Mum used to do. Even a year ago, she wouldn't have bothered.
