If you're still waiting for payment from 2 months ago, why on earth havent you filed a NPB dispute!!! You will get your FVF fee back if you do!
I would have done this long before now!!

Well as a buyer I expect my feedback as soon as I've paid as I have completed my side of the contract. If the seller is going to wait for me to leave feedback first he will have a long wait. I already have a very large 100% positive feedback so quite honestly I don't care if none is left for me!

As a seller again I leave feedback as soon as the buyer pays. If I don't get feedback myself again I really don't care. Life is too short for these mind games.

    My sentiments exactly.

I bought some items recently and the seller emailed me to say he had some software that would automatically leave me feedback, once I had left him positive feedback. I emailed back to say that as a buyer, I expect feedback as soon as I have paid, and that this is what I do as a seller. I even got an automated reminder email about leaving feedback. It did not stop me from buying from that particular seller again.

If a seller leaves you a pos as soon as you have paid you are only being judged on your ability to pay promptly not on how the whole transaction goes.

Is this not the wrong way to do things??? Surely I have completed my side of the bargain first? I should have the feedback left on me first?

    Just wondering??

These are the ones who MUST be expecting poor feedback (Usually bulk sellers of tat). As a buyer I leave feeback when the transaction is complete, I have the goods purchased and am satisfied with them. As a seller, I leave feedback when I tootle off to the Post office to send my goods on their merry way. Simple, really.

As a buyer, my only part of the transaction is bidding and paying, and that's what I expect to leave feedback on. Feedback for buyers shouldn't be dependent on what they think of item, postage etc.

I always leave feedback as soon as payment clears, and expect the same when I'm buying.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

Interesting theory. So as a buyer, you purchase, say a coat, and the seller sends you a top, but all in good time, you will leave a possitive feedback?

An interesting theory that implies other EBayers only want to know how quickly another EBayer can pay and have absolutely no wish whatsoever to know how the buyer conducts themselves beyond that point, if the buyer for example, pulls or attempts to pull any of 1001 stunts, leaves unjustified neutrals or negs due to their failure to read the auction description, is as thick as a brick, difficult to communicate with, plain ignorant, rude, awkward, abusive, etc, etc, etc........

I cannot speak for anyone else, however, I for one would wish to know all of the above. :)

Sorry, I'm struggling with the quote thing, and you've misunderstood me. If I'm a good payer, I expect feedback to that effect.

When I receive goods, I then leave appropriate feedback in return.

I imagine feeback could reflect all of the above, byt assuming payment , communication etc, have been fine, why shouldnt sellers leave FB immediately.

This whole debate is about sellers who only leave feedback if the buyer leaves them good feedback.

The point being feedback should reglect your experience with another person, not as a bargaining chip for positives.
