    Out of the fridge.

The yolks of eggs from the fridge will break more easily (when making fried eggs) and don't cook as nicely because of the fast temperature change (like with steak you need to bring it to room temperature before cooking it to ensure the middle gets heated through properly, and it improves the texture of the meat too because of how the foods structure is affected by heat/cooking).

But then most of us have been taught to cook eggs quickly, but eggs respond best to slow/gentle cooking.
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.

    In.

They'd be smashed all over the kitchen if it was out.. plus they go off quicker.

I've not found any difference with yolk breakage with fridged/non-fridged eggs .. and I always cook them at a low temp as I can't stand crispy bits on them.

Out of the fridge, on a SPIRAL. Looks nice and makes sure they're used in date order :D
I'd love an egg spiral! Haven't ever found one here but if I do I'll snap it up.

Our eggs never go in the fridge. There's no need.

OUT of the fridge - in a lovely chicken-shaped wire container that was 50p in a car-boot sale!

eggs keep the same refrigerated of not imo so long as you don't decide to store them at room temp for any length of time after they have been stored in the fridge.
  • My fridge came with 2 plastic egg holders, so I use those.

I put tomatoes in the plastic holder, but space them out as they are often bigger. I keep a couple out of the fridge for imminent use.

    Eggs out of the fridge.

  • What about sauce? never kept tomato sauce in the fridge until I moved in with my (now) wife.
