Mine was ordered 10th June and has only just updated to despatched.
Therefore no query from them re fact I already had 2.0 -
myn came todayDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Just ordered it. Thanks very much for the heads up!0

Just tagging on to say that this offer is for all Sky Movies customers - except when you've given notice of removal of Sky Movies from your package and you're in that notice period.
This isn't made clear in the Ts&Cs. However, I've now cancelled my cancellation (if you see what I mean) and once the Connector arrives, I'll give notice again.0 -

Just to clarify, I was in conversation with Sky Customer Services who explained that the sytem wouldn't let me have a free connector because I'd given notice of removing Sky Movies from my package. So, during that conversation, I cancelled my cancellation of Sky Movies and thus qualified for the free offer which has now gone through.
The Customer Services rep said that as soon as the Connector arrived, I should ring again and give notice of removal of Sky Movies. (Which of course is 31 days from notice given, not straight away.)
I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed as a) nothing in the free offer ties anyone into continuing Movies and b) the rep advised this course of action.0 -

This is the whole reason that there has been widespread discussion of this "offer", not just here but elsewhere online.
I actually stepped back from ordering this mainly because I don't really need it, but also "just in case" Sky argued I was entering into a new contract.
Let us know how you get on...0 -
Given that Sky rang me in response to a complaint about the way my original application was handled I hardly think the Customer Services rep would want to invite another complaint by advising me to do something that wouldn't be possible to do.
But by all means I'll report back.0
