Sky Go Wireless Connector Free

This post is aimed at those with Movies already.
I actually have 2 Wireless Connectors already from Sky. They are the old style and cost me a tenner as opposed to the standard £21.95.
I also happen to have 2 multi-room on my account so fancied another one.
Well I don't know if the offer is open to all (Who have Sky Movies) even those who may have had this device before ?
I went through the tricky procedure (will highlight later) and indeed ordered one free gratis. (Your contract terms are not changed or extended before anyone asks).
Just to satisfy curiosity I then repeated the exercise until the click to buy button. Another one would then have been £9.99 !!! Still cheaper than standard price.
Be very careful you follow these instruction as it can easily send you off to the connector being £21.95 which is frustrating.
To get Log into Sky.com
Hover mouse over Sky Products
Click on ON DEMAND under ways to watch.
Click on SKY CUSTOMER in blue just under the large picture on right.
Click on BUY A WIRELESS CONNECTOR in blue halfway down right side.
You should then see on right hand side FREE WIRELESS CONNECTOR in orange if you scroll down a little. Click on MORE ABOUT THIS OFFER in blue.
Scroll down a little and look on the right hand side in ORANGE for OFFER ALREADY HAVE SKY MOVIES. Then click on GET IT NOW in blue.
Then proceed with order which should show £0.00
Voila

Enjoy hundreds of movies on demand with a free Wireless Connector (normally £21.95) for all Sky Movies Pack customers.0

If you are an existing movie customer I'd be concerned that accepting the offer commits you to a further 12 months movies.
If you are not then I'd get one. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I got it confirmed it does not affect your contract if you read my post clearly Penrhyn.
I guess you can probably determine from my experience, and that prowla has stated, it is for ALL Sky Movies customers (Even those with the connectors already).0 -
I'll go for it then, and thanks for the tip. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

I scoured the t&c and didn't mention extending the contractDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Any idea how long this deal will last? only due to activate my sky services end june/beg july, so wont let me apply for one yet.0

Thanks for this tip - I'd been trying to get the site to give it to me free through the 'My Account' section and it wouldn't play ball.
All went well, but - I've just received an email from Sky asking me to ring them about my order... I won't be able to ring until later on and will post again if it's anything relevant.0 -
anyone received it yet, Im still waiting after a weekDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
