Poundcafe!!! :d

Options
I can't post a direct link as my account it too new, but the long and short of it is that Poundcafe is a cafe where, oddly enough, you can get a fry up for £1. You'll find the article with all the info in the DailyMail online, I found this on hotdeals uk. It goes pretty much like this:

Forget Poundland... now there's Poundcafe! Hundreds of customers flood new eatery in one of Britain's most deprived areas to get a fry-up for just £1
Sit-down cafe in Kirkby, Merseyside, is the first in Britain to offer a £1 fry-up
Its four-item £1 breakfast menu has a choice of egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, baked beans and tomatoes
Poundcafe was an instant hit with 300 customers on its first day of trading

:T:T:T:T

Ok, it's not 'healthy' but come on, great idea :D

That's ace. I bet they make money with add ons too. I'd want a slice of toast to go with it and a brew.

What a genius idea. Hope it makes them rich :)

Its owned by the same company as 'The Pound Bakery' which is apparently decent quality, they are planning a chain of these cafes so cant see them serving inferior quality cr4p.

Everything is wrong with this.. why should food be dirt cheap? It's bad for our health, bad for the people who work in the food industry and bad for our farming community. I have every sympathy with people who are on a budget but going to some cheap-as-shite eatery to stuff themselves with fried food is one of the main reasons this country faces an obesity epidemic.

And anything that's advertised in the Daily Mail can !!!! right off, IMO.

I'd rather pay a quid for a hearty breakfast than a tenner for some nouvelle cuisine with half a sausage and a baked bean.

Really? It makes my stomach turn, we go to a lot of wholesalers and a few do an offer on all the cafe breakfast products together. Very cheap but they look manky and even those are around £1 per serving for sausages, egg, bacon, hash browns etc so can't imagine cheaper.

Somebody should create an Organicafe chain: five items for only £10. They'd make a fortune with their free range sausages and organic eggs. And if they advertised in the Guardian, Fluffnutter would be one of their best customers.

I wouldn't touch a £1 fry up with a bargepole. Lord alone knows what the sausages are made of. Floor sweepings probably.
