    Re: Foreign object found ....

Hi Polly check out early lark ThumbRemote & PZH replies for your clarification, on the issue.

I don't need to check out their replies - I've already read them.

I'm just a tad sceptical (as is Dogger69 - not to be confused with Dagger69 ) that you didn't seem to have taken legal advice at any time yesterday (or at least if you had you didn't think it important enough to mention in any of your posts) but after Thumbremote suggested at 8:02am today that you should seek legal advice and PHZ suggested the same at 2:53pm today, you suddenly post at the same time that your solicitor (unmentioned until that time) is speaking to the 'Company'.

Damn! Where the 'rolly eyes' smilie when you need it? :rotfl:

    Hi Pulliptears,

Coins come in different weights and sizes, like the sterling ₤2 compared to the 1p coin, it was a small coin,I didn't pick it up, it was in with a small bunch of crisps I chewed on, I never seen it.

Funnily enough I've realised that not all coins are the same....So hows about you tell us all what the coin was so we can better understand? ;)

Polly It's a consumer issue, not a legal one, I don't want to keep repeating previous text, see post from PHZ, and my last reply before this one on the Solicitor, I am thankful especially to ThumbRemote & PHZ, and took their good guidance and advice onboard.

Have a nice rest of day :j

OK. So it's a consumer issue, not a legal one.

Thanks to ThumbRemote sensible reply, this is no longer an issue of dispute, the Solicitor and Company are in communication to reach a resolution. Thanks to all for posting even the laughable ones, enjoyed the banter,:) no harm done, that's the value of a forum, everyone is entitled to free speech and their opinion rightly or wrongly on a matter. Have a good rest of week

In that case, why is a 'solicitor' (legal, surely?) talking to the company on your behalf?

I appreciate that you took Thumbremote & PHZ's 'good guidance and advice on board'.
What I'm trying hard to understand is the speed that a solicitor (you know, the one who seems to be talking to the 'company' on your behalf who may be dealing with a consumer issue rather than a legal one) acted - as you didn't seem to have consulted one yesterday.

We all get the message that you don't believe them. So why not just let it rest at that?

I'm not saying I don't believe that the OP found a foreign object in a packet of crisps, it's the fact that he/she got a solicitor (for a consumer issue, not a legal one ) to act with such speed.

I've asked the OP about this (several times) and so far, he/she hasn't replied.

That's why I've not just let it rest at that.

Pollycat - Your communication is confusing me, I don't understand it, sorry. As previously said the origional issue/enquiry has been actioned. Yes in a speedy & satisfactory manner, it really does happen some times, :D but not all the time, :( such is life, I think it is futile posting or replying to any more comments on this past issue/enquiry. Thank you for your posts, have a good rest of week.:j
