Mozzarella - 2 pks should have been used by yesterday - Help !

I've had a bag lurking in fridge for a while goes ood at weekend- any suggestions for using it up other than on a pizza. Thanks.

You can freeze it, you know. I mix grated mozerella 50:50 with cheddar for pizza topping and freeze it in pizza sized quantities. Also good for putting on baked spuds or topping cooked vegetables then grilling them to melt the cheese.

I put it through pasta bakes....bolognese, tuna, chicken etc mixed with pasta and a tomato sauce

Makes a lovely salad with some mixed leaves and sliced tomato.

Or get some mixed beans and add the cheese, serve as a starter, or stuff a pepper with the beans and cheese mix.

Or just slob in front of the telly and eat it out the packet.

I stir-fry or roast a packet of Mediterranean Veg (Iceland), put mozzarella on top and grill until it's crispy. Lovely on it's own and great with cold meat!

Cheese/baked beans on toast quick meal. Maybe too similar to a pizza though?

Thanks for your ideas I will probably just use it in a pasta dish.

I bought it because it was on special offer thinking I'd use it for a pasta just thought I'd see what great ideas someone on here could come up with. I've often read posts and thought I didn't think of that and was looking for some inspiration.

like french toast but with a lovely oozy cheesy filling

here we dont have french toast as a sweet thing,
make your egg mix like for scrambled egg, dip in 2 slices of bread, and fry both on one side at the same time



flip one, so its cooked side up, sprinkle on your cheese (and anything else you want in there, chives, pepper etc), put the other slice ontop, cooked side down
fry on both sides
an oozy yummy lunch!
