What a shame! Avocado sandwiches are lovely, though, so it's not a complete disaster. :D

When making pizzas yesterday, I have now discovered the children opened both packets of mozzarella cheese although they only ended up using one lot on their pizzas.

The second packet of mozzarella now has no liquid in it, so can it still be stored in the fridge please? If so, how long for? Or would it be better to use it up, if so ideas would be welcome!!!

    Thanks.

    Hi Ginger Snap

I would freeze it myself :) It will probably go off quite quickly!

i found you a couple of threads which should help

Mozerella - 4 packets need using up

    Can i freeze cheese?

I'll merge this later for you once you get more input :)

    Thanks

i always freeze it. then when i want to use it , get it out about an hour before use and it is excellent for grating. makes the cheese go so much further.

Hey all have to say a MASSIVE thank you as I now know I can freeze literally all my chicken, mozz and bacon wrap to just put in the oven on a lazy day I am loving the freezer at the moment and now have to probably invest in a bigger one and some air tight containers lol :D
