Bossy.. so pleased DS likes the idea of school.. let's hope it continues when he has to go every day!

Dot is not a happy chicken.. she is on to her second lot of pjs after wetting through her first lot. Her little chin is so sore and she is a little warm so I'm hoping she isn't coming down with anything too serious.. my nieces chickenpox would be ideal thank you! :D

The other 4 girls are asleep and the 2 boys have shut up.. no mean feat shutting those 2 up.. they seem to notch up their noise as the others go to bed which is really annoying.

OH's books for fathers day have arrived and I shall go to the PO and get him cards and some sweets from the girls on the way back from my nail appt in the morning.

Best see if I can get this Dot to bed quietly and then I can get on with my knitting!

    Hi all

bossy DS school sounds lovely, hope he will be happy there
    ionafan glad move went well.
Tooch congratulations on the new job
Natty hope you're ok - healing vibes to you
Pigpen don't blame you, I still have hateful thoughts towards the woman late OH had the indiscretion with. She was the reason I had to quit my job after he passed (me and her worked together) as my mental health couldn't cope with it.
CY have my fingers crossed for good news

    Flying wise

    Lawn mowed
    Some weeding done
    Bathroom cleaned & descaled
Shower room cleaned, bleached and descaled
    Bins put out for tomorrow
    Indoor plants watered
    Sheltered plants watered
    Cats brushed

I'm on my 4th week of the 5:2 diet, struggling today as AF is visiting and I'm hungry. Will battle on as I can eat what I like tomorrow.

Ok... so now I want to go smash her face in too.. guess who OH is nicely chatting on the phone to.. I am thinking very uncharitable thoughts and feeling unladylike feelings.. there is no wonder he got pee'd off and splatted her, I know exactly how he feels.. There are other ways to express yourself though I guess.. I knew I was right to be suspicious when he offered to go make me a cuppa.. :p

My feet hurt... and I am a whale.. according to the area manager of KIDs .. thanks for that chuck, just what I needed to hear!

I'm not in the most generous of spirits today.

TD fed.. I put the WM on before I went out.. so just towels and cot bedding to hang out in the morning.. after my nail appointment. I am considering trundling off to the bank now for some quids.. see if he even notices I am gone.. he'll probably still be on the phone when I got back and wouldn't know I'd been out! .. Which feeds my crossness..

I'd probably mind less if I didn't know she is an alcoholic, fruitcake who he was only seeing for 3 months and she bugled off with a smack head! It makes me really sad to think of all those people out there who have lost someone who loved them dearly and who appreciated everything they had and through no fault of their own could not keep them .. it is all so very unfair.. that makes me cross too .. I'm a bubbling cauldron of turbulent hormones.

I am going to knit a square of my blanket and go to bed without so much as a word.. I will NOT be a mean and spiteful person.. I try so hard to be a good person, it doesn't come easy and it just seems to make it easier for people to $h!t on you from a great height.

(((Hugs))) Pigpen. You're really going through it, aren't you?

Well done, Tooch. Am I right in thinking that you work in a field in which jobs don't come up very often, so you can't let us know what it is? Or am I confusing you with someone else? Anyway, jolly good luck with it when it starts and HUGE congratulations.

    Peaceful vibes all round.
    Better is good enough.

  • Well rubbish is out for dust bin day tomorrow.....had a tough day today mainly as I didnt get to bed til 5am as DS had night terrors last night, so while he was wanting to be with me and not clinging around my ankles I looked for my passport which has been missing since I renewed DD2 passport a few months back.

Found it after 3 hours of looking, found it tucked in with my Dad's paperwork.

Had most of the family tree death certificates in for the Cancer investigation I am doing for my cousin, the 3 I haven't got shouldnt be relevant unless cancer was found during a postmortem, but those ones are not arriving until 25th and cousins appointment to start the BRACA gene thingy is on Monday.

Found paperwork I need to ring tax credits....I hate ringing in July when you cannot get through for love nor money, so I will do tomorrow.

Pressed DD1 and DD2 into signing off their paperwork for student finance for next year, ready to sling in post box on the way to Minor Injuries with DD1 in the morning.

DD1 had her first year Uni exam results in - solid B's across the board, one A and one C, so she is pleased with herself.

Not much flying has really taken place, save for a few odd 15 minute bursts or 3 minute flaps while kettle boiled......although the kitchen bin is currently hosting a party for half a pack of soda crystals and all of DD4 washable which have been rubbed through!

Thanks Mrs MP I received an email for Tesco inviting me to apply to trial nappies, so that will help me out no end for days when the BD is really giving me gip (hence why I have a stockpile of nappies soaking tonight :o)

Have to go to Superdurg tomorrow to get some *cough* temporary pink hairdye for DD3 to splash on ready for the Summer Ball on Friday evening, the school will love her on Monday as her hair is so porous they will be lucky if it washes out by the start of the school holidays :rotfl::rotfl: I will get the value out of my £4.99 even if I have to wrap her hair in a headscarf to go back on Monday ;)

Right, going to take lappy downstairs with a bit of Simon le Bon to quietly soothe me and try and get some stuff off list, and will check in tomorrow....feel free to kick my butt if I go AWOL!
The cold never bothered me anyway

36 squares done of the 80 needed for my blankie. I've had a rant at DD1 re this 'situation' and she says I should smack OH in the head.. I did say I probably should but it wouldn't do any damage being a man and his brain being in his .. other body part. We decided men are dorks and they all need a periodic slap to keep them in check lol (women just need chocolate and they are good to go!)

Have I mentioned my feet hurt? lol... and my bladder feels like it has a cactus in it.. but that is probably the kidneys being silly again :( .. they've been doing so well too :( .. oh well.. I am expecting the MW to randomly turn up to try to persuade me to take iron tablets which landed me in hospital the last few times I took them.. not doing that again! ... I refused to give them a contact phone number so they cannot harass me.
