DS3's DLA payment sent through.. not as much as it should be so I shall ring them and ask why after making lunch for these naughties!

Cancelled fracture clinic appt.. Moomin hasn't complained of any pain or anything all week so it does seem a waste of the hospitals time.. it isn't like they don't have enough to do!

Ikea list sorted for Tuesday assuming I can walk.. today I am really struggling..

Went to wool shop.. the one I want isn't in stock so I have reserved 4 balls when it is. I still have a full ball left so I'll be ok for a few days yet.. and I can always crack out a new project.. I want a ball to knit DD1 a jumper for christmas too.. DD2 thinks she would like it so I'll sort that too.

I need to ring the GP.. again.. and sort Moomins prescription and DS3 a sharps bin.

Tooch congratulations on the job!:T:T:T Maternity cover job is a good way to get relevant experience on your CV - it certainly helped mr LW get the permanent post he's now been in for *thinks* seven years.:o
Pigpen - deep breaths, you are so much more of a better person than the silly woman OH is yacking too
    ^ ^ ^ Wot she said!

Pigpen - they were only seeing each other 3 months? That's barely a one night stand! What in earth are they still in touch for? I'm not surprised you're hopping mad about it. Blokes are a bit useless - they often don't have the skills to finish with someone they're in a relationship with, let alone someone they're not. Don't know what to suggest other than "create" some kind of scenario where he has to change his number ;) and help him to lose hers in the process of moving his contacts :D

Not that I would ever do anything so underhand, you understand :rotfl:
I would, given the circumstances. Actually I don't think I'd be that subtle.... I don't do subtle. I think he'd be wearing the phone somewhere he'd need the services of a proctologist to retrieve it.

Pigpen, when you go around the house today collecting all the washing, could you not accidently gather his phone with said washing and put it all on a very hot wash. That way phone will be ruined and he will have to get a new one. You could also before you put it in the wash take SIM card out and put the whole phone in to the machine in pieces so that the sim just disappears? It could in theory disappear down the bit by the rubber seal in the door!

I know this works as accidently put my mobile in the wash years ago and it was truly broken. You shouldn't have to put up with this silly behaviour and he should be putting you first.

    Good luck
Ooh, I like Ruby's way of thinking - I was going to suggest "accidentally" dropping OH's phone down the privy, but this is heaps better.:o

People, if I don't post much, or at all, next week, please don't fret about me OK? Mr LW has the week off, and [STRIKE]we're[/STRIKE] I'm planning the devouring of several sharing-sized cane toads. For starters, I want all the stuff out of the display cabinets, washed/dusted as appropriate, and replaced. This will take probably the best part of a day, on it's own. I've suggested I photograph the stuff in situ before we move it, as it's "cabinet Tetris" to get it all back afterwards.:D

Phone issues would be expensive... iphone jobby I can't afford to replace plus they are both on FB and she has his number and he would insist on having the same number.

Ah fb too... No accidents to the phone would work then. So you have 2 options, either learn to ignore it, or insist that he stop all contact with her (and run the risk of him doing it in secret). I don't know what the answer is, but I do feel for you

We have come upstairs, I need to sort the bedding. Have a serious case of CBA. Friend has just left (she brought contribution to lunch!) so they've been here almost 4hrs. Al I've done in that time is drink coffee, make lunch and gossip;)

    Must frame myself...

TBH the secret thing is not an option I can do.. though it will be known I know and I shall.. express my displeasure.. and then I'll grass him up to his mother and she can give him ear ache lol
