Paid stuff done, a more challenging session but done.

I have an hour now before getting ready to go out so Am making a cuppa and then I'll do some flying for a bit to prevent CHAOS descending.

DD1's new project... I have to have at least 1 with a creative bone somewhere in their body don't I?
Oh wow, that is some serious talent! I'm so glad it loaded so that non-FB peeps could see it.:o I can't draw to save my life - hell, I have trouble even drawing breath these days:D so I am in awe of those who can.
I'm feeling quite bitter about life at the mo so I'm away to do something
    (((HUGS))) my friend.
I'm sitting by the phone waiting to hear about O/H's job...
Fingers, legs and eyes crossed that it's good news.

I am mega-stressed - Mr LW has been given a new works mobile - they're changing providers, and in their wisdom, have new handsets also. It doesn't work properly. The display is non-operational. We did a definitive test, put his personal SIM in it, and I rang him. He could receive the call OK, but on the display - nada. So he's spent most of the morning (wfh today) on the phone to the company, and also to his supervisor, to try to get it sorted. They wanted all sorts of info he didn't have, as it's a Corporate thing, and dealt with initially by the bods at Head Office - he's spent over half an hour in queues on the phone. And I get very, very stressed if someone's using the phone in the same room I'm in - specially if it's Mr LW, I seem to take all his stress on board, iyswim.

Whinge over - I just needed to get that off my chest.:o

Piggers don't feel bad about how you feel about OH's ex's situation; if I heard that something horrible had happened to XH I'd find it very difficult to find any sympathy within me. Fwiw, Mr LW's XW had a nasty habit of bombarding him with phone calls when she found out he'd met me (!!!!!!, they'd been divorced 12 years when he met me, that woman is seriously not right in the head) so I told him we were changing the landline and his mobile number. I hope poor little Dot's face isn't too sore today.

    Flying??..... Flippitty-flap-flap-oh-bu88er-it-I-CBA.:rotfl:

We do have to get Mr LW a haircut this afternoon though, so does that count as decluttering?:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • Hi there and hugs all round to all those poorly flyladies - Natty, do get to hospital if you're not any better soon, and Pigpen, I hope you are soon feeling better with your legs - good health vibes to everyone that needs them. CY - I hope it's positive news for your OH. What a time lots of flyladies and their families are having at the moment.

Pigpen - I would feel the same as you about my OH's ex. You are only human - and there is a big difference in wishing someone harm and not feeling any sympathy. But like someone (Valli was it you, apologies if not) said, it's karma. I had an awful boss once, and I truly never wished her ill or harm when I left, I did, however, wish the job collapsed as I knew she couldn't do it - which it did, spectacularly, and she is now in a much lower grade of job and not bossing anyone!!

Good wishes all round - done all the ironing here, S and S bathroom and kitchen and sorted piles of mags and papers. Just about to have soup and then work. Bye for now, R x

I hope you get news soon CY.

Dusty well done to DS3. Very happy for him.

I forgot to get up early as we have a canine guest. I've been planning for it for days but it left my mind. My friend was banging on the door at 6.45 and I had to jump out of bed.

2 sales on EBeast. One a dress of DD2's that I bought for £2 at a Nearly new sale. It's gone for £9.51!

CBA to do much. Going to have a cup of tea in my new mug. I chipped my fave a while back and had to go to JL to get another one.

I will tackle the list if I discover some GUAG.

    Fingers crossed CY.

Bonnie: When this place was in a complete tip recently I spent a day not allowing myself to leave any room without carrying something to which ever other room it belonged in. The habit became so ingrained during that one day weeks ago that the place has stayed relatively tidy ever since. Good luck with it.

Pigpen, for what it's worth, I agree with what's been said: you are not evil, you are very human. A lack of sympathy does not mean you think anyone deserves to be hit. Imho, it's very difficult to feel any fellow-feeling-sisterhood-type-thing for someone who, essentially in this case it seems, is ignoring your existence by contacting your OH. If that makes sense. (Several of my OH's ex-girlfriends stay in touch with him, and most of them treat me with respect. One doesn't. I have views on her behaviour.) Cracking Bibbles, btw.

Mrs Dog has black fur. Rather a lot of it, and in carp nick. She is leaving chunks of it around the place on the fawn coloured carpet. I am going to have to dy$on the whole house. Darn it. The weather is blowy and showers are forecast. I have three double beds to change, and three large towels to wash as well. Not happy.
    Better is good enough.

    Hi everyone:wave:

We have moved! Yesterday I cleaned our old house from top to bottom and today the new house (which was left nice and clean but a bit musty - opening the doors and windows has cured that) is piled high with boxes. We clearly still have far too much stuff!

I have even weeded part of the front garden today whilst directing unloading operations :D

Now I am exhausted... But happy to be here :)
