Morning all
Busy day so I'll see how the flying goes. Cloudy and windy here, not good with an afternoon and evening of cricket ahead. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Kiddies both got up and I couldn't get off to sleep. Going in the shower in a mo, feel all groggy.
Pigpen, get your legs checked over, numbness and tingling doesn't sound good x
Plan B for this afternoon is to meet for a play date. Cuppa first then I will frame myself.
Helen jelly, be kind to yourself. Life doesn't always go to plan, it's up to us to make the most of things, until things start to go right for s again XXXBossymoo

Morning all
Paid stuff today. My phone battery has died again so I'm going to do dailies while I wait for it to charge, have a bath, then go out to get books. Its raining today so I think I'll get a binbag ready for throwing the rubbish in straight away as opposed to sorting it out like I normally do. That'll count as my binbag dance
Time to shrink the list tiny apart from what I need to do today. If its gone its done or doesn't apply

CY - hope it's good news for you
Been to docs (follow up from my half-term illness) he has said we won't consider that I have asthma, but that he thinks it was a one-off in response to triggers - cold & chest infection, possibly hay fever too. But I'm to keep my inhaler and use it if necessary and go back if it happens again.
Almost didn't make it. was pegging the washing out when I heard an odd noise, spotted young cat with mouthful of mouse. Cat dropped mouse, mouse ran, cat caught it AND RAN IN THE HOUSE. Old cat decided to investigate the ruckus...so yelled for daughter to catch young cat; I shoved old cat a cat in the LR and by this time mouse was under PC desk. Oh good. Lost sight of it for a minute otr two but spotted it ascending PC desk - got as far as printer then ran under bookcase. Opened door and managed to usher it out and made it to docs with 2 minutes to spare...
Am now having a :coffee:.

Flying has taken a back seat over the last few weeks as I've spent 95% of my time getting the business sorted. As a result CHAOS is looming and I need to get a grip. As a start, every time I leave a room I'm taking 2 things with me and putting them in the room they belong in; I'm hoping by the end of the day most things should be roughly where they should be
Time for a spot of breakfast: baked beans & scrambled egg in one of the pack of 4 yellow-stickered rolls I bought for 25p yesterday :money: Don't think McDs have got any competition here
Love, hugs, sticks, spoons, hellos, well dones, good lucks, & oh dears as appropriate... and special huggles for those who need/want them xx*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Full of snots in here today. Dot little face is really sore and she is moaning when I even look at it and is fighting like a wild animal if she so much as sees the savlon.
I feel so very mean and horrid today.. normally I would have nothing but horror for the victim of domestic violence but today I am severely conflicted.. apparently OH's ex who he has been spending far too much time on the phone to lately has just had her face broken by her fianc!.. and I, being a cow, have no sympathy for her.. sympathy for her situation but not for her as an individual.. maybe he found out she was ringing OH at all hours and didn't like it.. I get that!!!.. It is a horrible thing to happen to anyone but by goodness the evil side of me wishes I'd been there to offer my fist as well!!! I want to ring her and say 'HA!!' and tell her she deserved it... but that is because I am angry and I don't really think anyone deserves such treatment.. Obviously I'm not going to ring and I shall not say anything to OH .. but I just needed to get that dollop of bile out of my system so I can wrestle with my conscience. It's a crappy, frightening situation for anyone to be in. If the same thing had happened to pretty much anyone else on the planet I would recoil with horror but I just cannot summon that feeling today.. I am doomed to burn for all eternity in the pits of Hell I know
Still no payment from DLA!! They are seriously taking the mickey now! Wonder if I could abuse their complaints system and get compensation for DS3?? ..They have however sorted Moomins renewal in 4 weeks and hers doesn't run out until mid July.
Dot just sat in Squeaks full potty (not had time to empty it since she used it as we are dressing these 2) .. she is now complaining her bum is wet! .. Really!! I swear they get dafter!
Off to blow my snuffler and start on that infernal list.. I might boss OH to do wool shop and shoe shop with Squeak who will not stop whining!
Right.. shoes for these horrors then I'll kick them outside and make a start on this evil list as punishment for being a spiteful person.. one day I will learn.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Piggers while I quite agree there is no excuse for DV there is a bit of Karma goiung on there. Since OH's support is exacerbating (or at least that's how it appears;) considering the situation may be he can now be persuaded not to take calls...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

DW and WM both been on, washing on airer in conservatory as sky is very murky.
Charity bag filled. Kitchen dailies done. Chicken defrosted - think we will do main at lunch today, and a snack tea later between play date and school visit.
DS is putting away his train track. We built it an hour ago and he's hardly played with it. He refused at first so I said ok. He asked if we were going to play centre and I said "no, today is a no day" and now he's putting his tracks awaysaying "we need a yes day" :T
Think we might make some cards - one for FIL definitely.Bossymoo
