    Return prices.

This is via BTB. But I think from memory is equal to Ryanair directly.

    Slight update/correction to this.

Those prices mentioned earlier, were return via BTB providing the bags are booked the same time as the flight. Which is of course hindered by the website having a fault.

If my parents wanted to add bags to their existing booking via BTB today, they would pay upto £120 for both directions (based on two 20kg bags.)

This is equal to what Ryanair direct charge for adding bags to an already existing flight booking via "manage my booking". This is £30 per 20kg bag, or £20 per 15kg bag, for each leg in low season.

I admire your persistence with this, but don't let it get to the point where it sours the whole holiday, it's just not worth it for £100.
Maybe better to pay up, let them have a nice holiday and then deal with it.

That would be seen as accepting the contract.I believe this is known as "affirming" the contract.

Why would they have phoned up and asked for £100 for 2 suitcases when there was an option of £60 for 2 suitcases?

Indeed they didn't mention that there was the option to take 15kg each for a total of £60. They only mentioned the 20kg option at £100.

Stick with it, they do sound a right bunch.
Could this actually be a case of dare I say it " a rip off "?
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Last night their website was not working. I wondered if they were sorting out the error behind this.

It seems they were. There is now a small box stating there will be a baggage charge so ring for details.

Lol so if you want to book a holiday and take bags don't expect to do it online.

Will see later if this message is only on certain holidays (I looked up my parents holiday just now).

Oh I am so glad I took screenshots a few days ago proving the option was not there etc.

Just in case they try and make out this little strip stating to ring about baggage charges was always there.

Be aware that screen grabs are very easy to alter and they may claim that's what you've done if push comes to shove.

They can try that if they wish. Then again they are unaware to what scale I have gone to authenticate the evidence. ;)

    Well done for complaining OP.

As said it doesn't sound a very professional or well thought out operation, tbh it would put me off using them I think, but if they can deliver at a lower price than everyone else good luck and I hope they have a great holiday.
