But even booking direct can cause problems.

You can not always guarantee things will go smoothly.

3 days ago my parents would of praised/recommended beat the brochure. All based on their past experience.

But that is no longer the case.
Here to learn and pass on my experiences.
Had a total of £8200 of debt written off due to harassment during 2010 and 2012.

To be honest, while I see your problem, £633 for 2 weeks away for two people, including all travel and accommodation, is still VERY cheap...

Of course not but you can certainly increase the chance of it doing so.

Just doing a search for same flights and hotel direct with Ryanair to compare their price today -v- the price paid via btb (plus the 100).

I know it's a good price at 633, but they were led to believe they were getting everything at 533....which is even better. :D

Your very act of booking before will probably have pushed the prices up though as there is now less availability.

I've just done a couple of searches for flights (only) with this company. Both times they are claiming their price (without baggage) is cheaper for a Ryanair flight than booking direct. This is simply not possible unless they are giving money away.

I wonder how much it would have been on the day you booked?

The flights were cheaper today via btb than Ryanair. However Ryanair took the lead when it came to adding the hotel 9via their hotel section) and resort transfers.

Both were equal on baggage at £50 per 20kg bag. Though BTB still don't give you this option online or make reference to it.

One has to ask how they can undercut Ryanair when Ryanair
pay NO commission. If this were the case and they didn't amend the
price later or add an extra they would be charging nothing for their service
    and giving money away.
