  • hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

apologies for not getting back! hi hokey! Well, they did like my cv but when they sent me the company info it just wasn't right for me so I said not to put me forward but that shows I'm an interesting person! :) So I have applied for a few other jobs!

I also got a new kitty yesterday! A very timid little thing - she is sooooooooooo shy (we were told this before we got her) so we are currently introducing her to the household!

I'll try and upload a picture - but there is one on my twitter account! (same name - cottage_r).

Oh and hubby is doing well in his new job! yay!!!! he is working hard doing long hours (did an 11 hour day last week) and weekends! So proud of him :D:D:D:D:D

however money is still tough - we have 21 pounds to last til the end of august!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek: so I've set myself a little food challenge :) it's going to be fun!

I've drafted a mealplan though so I reckon it will be do-able!

Can't cope with this heat in london though - can't wait to move!

    Hope everyone is well? xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

£21 to last until end of August?!!?!:eek: I take it you won't be going out anywhere for the whole month. I think that would feed my lot for 2 days at the current rate they are eating ()

Glad going for the job gave you some confidence, even if it wasn't the right job for you I'm sure something else will come along soon.

I keep looking wistfully on righmove at the moment but we have a whole year before we are gone from town to village/rural life yet :( Never mind, after August I think I will begin some sort of countdown (albeit a very long countdown I think it might just get me through the next year :rotfl:) Can't wait to hear about your plans! Which direction out of london are you heading? xx

  • :wave::wave:Hi WABL and giblet and DFW321!!!!:hello::hello:

    Sorry I went AWOL

It's very tricky keeping this diary going when there is no debt-busting going on! Haven't been able to do anything since April - can you believe it? I don't know where the time has gone!

But - I got offered a new job! whoop! £9 grand more than I currently earn! which should really help! It is based in London though so I have accepted it but am still looking around for jobs outside of London as an alternative as that's where we really want to be.

Hubby has worked hard and we have £3,000 in the bank saved from him working this last month to move with! Fingers crossed we'll be moving in October and the debt-busting can begin!

Bit depressing to think, if we'd been consistent with our wages-we'd be debt free by now!

Oh well, positive thinking! onwards and upwards!!!

    xx

    HURRAH!
Great news about the job, and lovely to hear from you!
It is hard to think about the 'what if's' but you will be soon sorted because you are focused and trying to be MSE wherever possible.
    Really happy for you x

  • well - I'm back! Just popping on - not much to tell, still living frugally in order to make our move to countryside - some good news is our wonga loans are some of those due to be written off so we now have £11,000 debt left to pay off!

Which is really good and a weight off our shoulders. Phew! Just waiting to make sure they remove both loans! :)

    Hope everyone is well?
