Not sure how I feel about this

alykatz, the main point people are trying to make on here is that the buyer has agreed to someone coming to the door to deliver the item. With Yodel / myHermes / DX it could well be someone in there own car anyway, the only difference is they have a scanner and a hi-vis jacket.
A seller has not agreed to having someone coming to the door to collect.
When there's so many buyers on here complaining about slow delivery, the OP should feel honored that they got their item the same day, the same way that most other people, you and I included, would.0 -
On the whole my main point wasnt to state this is something wrong more to point out that for some people this isnt something they would be happy about or find acceptable.
Then perhaps they should refrain from buying online, the poor delicate flowers.Sanctimonious Veggie. GYO-er. Seed Saver. Get in.0 -
Then your sat around waiting for them.
You must have a great postman where you live - insisting on handing over to the named person only - do they ask for I.D or know you all personally
Especially as RM only undertake to deliver to an address, and NOT to a named individual.

You know i agree with you wholeheartedly on this, but was just trying to point out that not everyone is of the same frame of mind as the majority and whilst these people are in the minority they should not have their opinion ridiculed because they feel differently.
So people with mental illness`s who may have problems should be barred from online shopping, nice im sure.Funky_Bold_Ribena wrote: »Then perhaps they should refrain from buying online, the poor delicate flowers.0 -

Who said anything about mental illness?
People who have issues with strangers coming to their doors might want to stop ordering loads of goods from ebay as it will just exacerbate the situation. [That means, 'make it worse']

Gosh, you're clearly bored with nothing to worry about in your life so have to invent issues where none exist!
I suppose it also gives the seller assurance that the item is actually delivered - so many people claim that items have gone missing in the post via ebay sales.0 -
Problem with that though is the seller has no way of actually proving delivery so will not stop people falsely claiming inr unfortunately.I suppose it also gives the seller assurance that the item is actually delivered - so many people claim that items have gone missing in the post via ebay sales.0
