Well I suspect that very much depends on how many people buy them ......0 -
My 17 year old has had xboxes of one kind or another since they came out. He might have had to wait some time for it, but eventually I bought one.
But even he has said he prefers his PS3 (because the game offering is so much better now) to the XboxOne. I never thought I'd hear it lol! In fact he gets quite annoyed about what MS are doing.
I hope MS are going to have a nasty surprise with this one.0 -

Game offerings are better on a console that has been in production for years vs a release line up?0 -
My son has been an xbox fan (over and above sony offerings) for years becauuse he felt the games on offer for an xbox/xbox360 were better and there were more of them than was available for the equivalent PS console. But I did finally get him an PS3 because he now feels the range of games is at least as good if not better.
Because of this, and the publicised shortcomings of the XboxOne, he won't be interested in it. This will be the first time ever he has not been interested in an MS games console.
I am not agreeing or disagreeing, just reporting what he says.0 -
I have had xbox's since they came out, upto 5 in the house. We have 3x360 at present.
We think the live experience is far better than sony's so have stuck with it.
I shall be moving over to playstation when I need to replace my 360 because of the offline issue.0 -

Well, Sony gave Microsoft a massive slap in the face at E3 last night. £80 cheaper with no second hand restrictions, nor having to connect to the internet every 24 hours.
They also did this brilliant little thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G85FyoL4ots
I barely played the PS3, but I'm pretty certain I'm going to get a PS4 instead of XboxONE at launch now.0 -

That video was great. PS4 it is then until Microsoft wise up.

Brilliant. I think Sony have just killed off the new Xbox before it got a chance to draw a breath!
The ball is now in Microsoft's court, what's the betting that they now have no choice but to remove these unfair restrictions on their console? I can't see Microsoft selling a single unit now compared to the competition.
Sony 1 Microsoft 0.
On Twitter, they've renamed the new Xbox the Xbone lol.
Microsoft appear to have produced an expensive door stop!0 -

The xbox fanboys will still buy it in droves, but people like me who don't have a particular brand loyalty I think will certainly think twice.
What I've done a lot with the current gen is I buy a new game, complete it, trade it in against another, so on and so forth, so I never keep a real game library and get to play release date titles for cheaper.
I can't do that with the new Xbox, but I can with the PS4, so it's an easy decision for me.0
