You claim to have been a regular visitor to these forums for years - of course you know what a moderator is.
PS Your book idea sounds !!!!, I think I'd rather read something by Ben Elton.0 -
I suggest you look up, read and absorb the meaning of the word Machiavellian. Can't imagine any of the great writers of the last century or two homing in/preying on people's fears and worries and getting away with it by calling it some sort of research.
Unpleasant and manipulative might be a better description. (Do I detect a faint whiff of something bovine .... ?)0 -
superb, you have made my day

In your efforts to come clean sortofok you have given away far too much information about yourself. Your financial standing is your own personal business and not for broadcast on an open forum on the internet. Your naivety about internet forums is the first area of research you should have addressed.
There is a thread on this board where lots of people have stated the very same information, also have you read the DFW board recently?Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0 -
A few years ago on a football forum I frequent someone posted wind up messages for about a week. His friend was a fan of the team and he thought it would be "funny".
He confessed at the end of the week, acknowledged his mistake and admitted to being 13 yrs old.
I'm not sure what you think you've got out of this "experience", but I think he learnt more than you will have done.0 -

I'm sorry for any misunderstanding - I meant I've always been a visitor and have been unable to do the things a registered member can do.
I can honestly say that I have never ever given any thought as to what a moderator is or does.
It has never concerned me.
I am a big fan of Ben Elton by the way.Whenthemusicstopsmakesureyou'renotleftstanding0 -

I see it as some sort of rehabilitation I suppose.
You know.....if I acknowledge their reply it's like an admission of guilt and an aplogy.Whenthemusicstopsmakesureyou'renotleftstanding0 -
You, just like anyone else, can be who they want on an open forum. Is your opening post true or just another wind up? Who knows and who cares!
Your costs did amuse me, once you stopped just bleating about the iminent HPC and a dry humour appeared.
Stick around if you want the choice is yours.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards.
