Off to update sig, hoping i have just enough to do a small shop before the end of the month. Not holding out much hope though, i think i'll be over by a few squid. Really need to do better next month, hopefully a supermarket on the doorstep will help, especially as i can just use it for basic everyday items, and go for the best offers elsewhere. Also won't need a minimum spend for delivery as i do online.
I would be excited too if I was getting a Mr Ms on the doorstep, my nearest is a 45 min busride away, as yours is so close check out when they do the reductions, they are really good usually.Slimming World at target0 -
Reporting a spend of £1 yesterday on diet pepsi in Asda. Also bought some scales (seriously need to sort my diet out now) but am taking them from a different budget. Thought I did quite well in Asda resisting anything else.
Was nice to have a small breather on the heat yesterday, supposed to be very hot again all week. Good for starting diet tho, as I find summer much easier for eating healthily and avoiding the starchy "comfort" foods.Mum of 2 monkey. 4 yrs and 2 yrs :j

£13.54 spend yesterday on bits for a BBQ, which was quite extravagant, but we had extra money in the budget and it was a lovely afternoon.
Got some leftovers too so some has gone in the freezer and some has been used for lunches today.

Hi lovelies, NSD for me thank goodness. Toad in the Hole, new tats, spring greens and new carrots for dinner and with the left over batter there was just enough for 2 small pancakes each for pud. Hubs and matey had jam in theirs and I had lemon juice and caster sugar. Very nice. Bit cooler again and overcast but making the most of it as it says it's going to be humid the next few days. On the bread making front we all enjoyed the rolls so much I am going to try to make my own each week. Going to give it another go on Monday or Tuesday. Hope you all have a good day. With Our Thoughts. We make our world - Buddha

Just updated my signature (week 3), although i am sure i'll have to add to that total now that the kids have broken up from school.
I start my new job next Monday :j
I am hoping that it wont affect my ability to keep to my grocery budget. I'll be packing a lunch to eat in the car between jobs (my job will involve travelling to peoples houses), so am going to be coming up with a list of packable lunches.0 -
Had to call by Asd@ yesterday for some toilet paper after the household ran out. The way our local Asd@ works, you have to pay for parking, and then you get the money off our shopping if you spend £10 or more, so given I was spending £5.50 on toilet paper, I bought a few more filler items to bulk me up to £10 so I have spent £3.50 on food yesterday (and a couple of non-food items)
Had intended to save my weekly shop until today, because the weather atm is making my bread go mouldy quite quickly, so have spent another £12.50 today (not bad!). Unfortunately, with the cost of the BBQ last week, this has taken me to a grand total of £8 over budget instead of being £7 under budget  for the month.
I'm going on the train on Friday and would normally treat myself to a meal deal for that, as it is a once-in-a-while treat. Will see if there is anything in the house I can make up instead.0
