So today was another spend free day, I've finished the thread I was reading and all I can think is how on earth I got in this mess more importantly I want out of it pronto...it effects so much of my life, more so now I'm actually acknowledging it....ignorance really is bliss but I wouldn't want to go back to being ignorant...no way...I got myself in, I'll get myself out.
It's challenging a bit, the packed lunches & cycling I don't mind, I actually kind of like to be honest...it's the having to cancel plans...I feel like I'm letting them down by cancelling things due to circumstances, I can always put it on my card but that defeats the object...I feel slightly miffed.
somehow I know this is the right decision I just wish some people who I love could be a bot more understanding and supportive, still I guess unless your in this situation then you can't.
anyhow enough of the pity post I am doing this, I want to be able to be financially free and be able to enjoy time with my friends and not worry that I could've used some of it to pay down my cards...also would be nice to have a nice clean slate, meet someone and not dread the money talk & other related issues...sorry I'm ranting im just clearing space & putting it down so I know why I'm doing all this changing.
everything in its own good time I guess...I believe everything happens for a reason...so I'm just going to concentrate on working on what I can....plus sides for today I spent nothing, I found my rain mac from festival which saves me buying a cycle jacket, im now ready foe rain, no more wet tshirt competitions on the cycle home haha ...I'm here, I'm healthy & I'm getting there slowly but surely...#happydays...right off to bed I'm probably a bit over tired...nite mse world xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :beer::T

Hello Shelbi! Thought I would drop by and see how you are! Never ever feel you are letting someone down when it comes to this MSE business. I know it is hard not going out to see friends and family but with your MSE journey is important to you you need to stick to your guns!
What you might notice is that your reluctance in going out all the time might be making other people look at their spending, realise the ignored demands coming through the door need to be faced someday and they are scared. You are (without meaning to) making people look at themselves in a way they don't like.
But you are now planning for you! You are creating a better existence for yourself in being debt free so don't ever feel like you are letting people down by not spending money - the friends that don't understand this aren't really friends!
You are doing so well (wish I wasn't so far from work so I could cycle) and you can't give up now! I am behind you (lurking) and watching and we will get there in the end.
There would be nothing more disappointing that being sat in your house on the 01.01.2014 thinking "if only I didn't buy that" ... I am not willing to walk into another year with any debt.
We need to leave all this debt it in 2013. You can do it Shelbi... just stick to your guns!!!

Afternoon, So Wednesday wasnt a sfd I went cinema the lure of Hugh Jackman was too great:blushing:...did manage a sfd yesterday though so am upto 5NSD :j... May need to slow down on the cinema even with orange wednesdays its a bit steep, £15.80 cinema & £5 parking...although that was due to me not eating before I left home- roockie mistake:mad:
In plus side I was gifted the most gorgeous chinese chest full of gems, crystals, tarot, runes, prayers along with books on reiki, meditation, diviniation and all manner of cool things..very much into this kind of stuff, have been buying bits & bobs but friend of my mothers gifted me most of hers, its worth hundreds, was so shocked & happy & truyely grateful needless to say i wont mind staying home a little more to learn & save :j
Tonight ill be baking this wonderful woman a cake by way of thanks, think I already have all the ingredients:)
Other updates ebay sales are coming along, lots of watchers but not really any bids bar 2, although theres still time...need to upload somemore things.
Also plan to pop to the halifax & change over banks, £100 incentive is appealing and i like the idea of £5 per month, my current bank pays zilch...Its time for a change!
Have a fab weekend one & all... xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :beer::T
