(if you havent already check it out) Ive signed up to make £5, as a start, so need to make an additional £105 by the end of July...this is ontop of the £232.32 shortfall to hit my 1178.15 payment target. Still this should make me concentrate on creating more income instead of saving (or spending less):undecided... time to focus xDFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Hi DeterminedDiva:wave: & Lilian1977:wave:
So lovely to see meet you both & thank you for subscribing, it really helps. Lilian congratulations on your debt clearance & massive thanks for the advice on the freebies board ill definetly be heading over there...anything which curbs my spending is always welcome.
So today started off alittle bit blah, im sure thats linked to the weather, I rushed out the door & didnt make lunch(rookie mistake) was planning on eatingthe weetabix I keep in my desk and fighting the urge to pop to waitrose (only shop within reasonable walking distance) when it turns out we overbooked lunch for a management meeting & there was bundles of left over salads...i sat there silently thanking the universe & all sorts..was delicious.
Then figured since I got a free lunch I may as well pay the £5 I wouldve spent onto my cc. Logged in and noticed the balance 7068.88 so thought why not pay the 8.88 turn it to a round figure. did that then thought what the hey may as well pay an extra £60 and make it a round £7000 remaining. This leaves me with £120 to pay the remaining 2weeks rent till payday & an £18 (buffer). Gosh im wishing for payday already. this will be a longish two weeks. In saying that I have an item to return to store that will give me an extra £15, although Ill try and do that on Sunday to save the £3 parking fees:money:
Also had an thought that from here on out any money i do spend that isnt essential expenditure must be matched by a "paying down debt payment" which technically should make me halve my luxury spend allowance, limit any spending guilt & make me think twice if I need to buy anything (cause everything will now be double the price to me)..I dont even know if that makes any sense...More psychological spending/saving games.... aww & need to update my signiture to account for my relapse weekend:o and give a clear picture of where im at...coming up!! Hope your all enjoying the sunshine :cool2: x

That's a great payment Shelbi, well done.
Have you got a MyWaitrose card? If so, you know you can get free coffee/tea there daily (if yours has a coffee machine)? Worth doing as if you feel the urge to pop over there, you can get your free coffee and nothing else and still feel like you've "been to the shops"!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

A quiet day today, spent it half working half trowling the net for ideas for side/home businesses today & learning about investments (kind of needed a distraction from online shopping & social networks) was pretty cool. Need to think of ways to cover any shortfalls. Yesterday i met my girlfriends for a catch up, neither have debt and one only ever pays for anything if she has the cash. no credit cards the other uses hers and pays off the balance in full to earn points, i need to get to that mentality. Its made me more determined to sort my finances out than ever.... NSD today so its off home for a snuggle with my nephew and a movie I guess...let the good times roll!!DFD-01.03.2018:starmod: :T

Hey Shelbi,
Well done on the NSD.
I am feeling very err today, looked on fb to see lovely holiday snaps and I realised I wont be having one this year.
Grr just need this debt gone.
Do you have any hobbies you could possibly turn into money making schemes. I recently did a waxing course and charge my friends a little bit of money for that.
Have a good weekend.
