My heart goes out to you.Life is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A

Dad died in his sleep 3 weeks ago tonight. Am in a really bad place. Keep playing his funeral songs over and over on youtube.
Am under mental health services but they are proving to be less than supportive out of hours- even within hours!
Am not well!!0 -
Also ex husband has started to kick me when down. He has designed my downfall, too much to go into here, but imagine a high earning person, controlling wife for years. Pillar of society. Was married to him for 23 years and he's a bully. Chooses his times- womens aid are useless in my area btw- have been in touch with them for last few years- understanding?? Not an inkling!!
This song is going through my head as well as dad's funeral songs, Susan Boyle singing a Madonna song on youtube- You'll See
You think that I can't live without your love
You'll see,
You think I can't go on another day.
You think I have nothing
Without you by my side,
You'll see
Somehow, some way
You think that I can never laugh again
You'll see,
You think that you destroyed my faith in love.
You think after all you've done
I'll never find my way back home,
You'll see
Somehow, someday
All by myself
I don't need anyone at all
I know I'll survive
I know I'll stay alive,
All on my own
I don't need anyone this time
It will be mine
No one can take it from me
You'll see
You think that you are strong, but you are weak
You'll see,
It takes more strength to cry, admit defeat.
I have truth on my side,
You only have deceit
You'll see, somehow, someday
All by myself
I don't need anyone at all
I know I'll survive
I know I'll stay alive,
I'll stand on my own
I won't need anyone this time
It will be mine
No one can take it from me
You'll see0 -
the pertinent line is 'no-one can take it from me'0

Have you looked at this website http://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk
if you join and it costs 19 pounds you can download a very helpful guide to the ESA mental health.
Hope this might help.
That is a ridiculous amount for some information readily available in many other places...
download this..
http://www.dls.org.uk/advice/factsheet/welfare_benefits/employment%20support%20allowance/Employment%20Support%20Allowance%20-After%2028th%20March%202011.pdfIt is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
The information you quote is out of date and again does not focus on mental health needs in any detail.
OP - I am glad that the stress of further ESA assessment is gone just now. I hope you manage to gain some peace and support.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
OP - the words of that song perfectly encapsulate my attitude towards some really bad things that have happened to me. I used to listen to it at school and always found it comforting. It's all about inner strength - and that's something which we have more of than we realise.
Have you tried contacting the Samaritans? They really are incredible, I would urge you to contact them, even just to talk.
If you don't feel up to talking, you can email them at Jo@Samaritans.org.
And please keep posting here whether you feel up to contacting the Samaritans or not. Sending you hugs xxxxLife is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A

OP - I was abused as a child, bullied at school, bullied at work and have just left an abusive marriage. The words of that song perfectly encapsulate my attitude towards it all. I used to listen to it at school and always found it comforting. It's all about inner strength - and that's something which we have more of than we realise.

Was gang raped at 14- did a police interview last year, not enough evidence to say where the 4 people were at the time of the gang rape- logistics. Small town see these people. Long story. Life is getting better but only under my determination.0 -
OP - it may be safer to remove your name from your post, as the 'dementors' are the ones who are most likely to contact you on FB.
I make a point of never contacting anyone from MSE on FB. PMs are safer, and then emails if you get to know someone well enough to communicate outside MSE.
Wishing you luck xxxLife is a gift... and I intend to make the most of mine :A
