OK well thanks Mr Expert, glad he wont lose his job, lets hope he doesn't come to your house in an emergency :)

nope as have own network contacts
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

I am mystified about this incorrect cap, surely you would plug the bayonet fitting or worst case cut and cap the pipe with a 15mm cap?. How can this be done wrong?

You tell me, im not a gas engineer

You don't need to be a gas engineer to understand you can't put say an 8mm cap on a 15mm pipe.

Well you could try I suppose, but you wouldn't need to be a gas engineer to see it didn't fit.

Without a photo, which you conveniently cannot provide, how are we supposed to know?

I think the link made a valid ( and fairly amusing) point. I won't debate anything else about it...;)
Let's agree to call a spade a garden spoon.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

Gas made an offer of compensation as it was there error, £2000, so just goes to show you it does work to complain.

What a ridiculous precedent that is, customers left right and centre will be unscrewing joints following a visit!. I have never heard of a figure like that in all my time.

The OP uses 'of' instead of 'have' and for that reason I'm out.

Olski, I am similarly perturbed and would appreciate further enlightenment.

Surely a 1/2 mbsp plug would be used if there were a 1/2 fbsp cooker point,or as you say, a 15mm cu compression cap would be used.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
