That's some fantastic decluttering, Crumpets. Hope eBay is good to you (& that you had a lovely break away!)a penny picker upper. I'm back after a lovely but hectic weekend away, I can't fault the premier inn, it was in a fantastic location and we had a decent size room with 3 beds and a cot in. We also splashed out and had breakfast there this morning before we came home but with the kids eating free it worked out to be cheaper than anywhere else. It also meant we didn't have to get lunch on the way home:j My budget was £100 and unfortunately there isn't anything left of that, we only went over by about £20 though so I can't complain. Thank goodness for tesco vouchers though otherwise it would have been another £100 on top of that!
Back to reality now with lots of house work to do and still Decembers finances to go through! I did manage to work out and over pay £263.50 today:T I can't wait to get my mortgage statement through to see the total overpaid in 2013:D
Kids are back to school tomorrow, Yay! I'm looking forward to having a bit of peace and quiet (I still have Ds at home but he's no bother) things on eBay are all going well, loads of watchers on my kitchen and another item has a bid on with quite a few watchers:T good for the decluttering and the op pot:rotfl:
Tomorrow I need to do a meal plan and go shopping, I don't want to get to much as i'm still trying to go through the cupboards to use things up. I need to think of lots of 1 pot and microwaveable meals for when we have the kitchen done, I don't want to end up spending a fortune on takeaways and eating out as the kitchen is costing enough already
I'm enjoying my last glass of wine and bar of chocolate tonight before trying to lose the few pounds I've put on over Christmas. I may even go out for my first jog of the year tomorrow if the weather is ok:A

Evening,
It's been a productive day today with both dd's at school, meal plan and aldi shop done, over budget again though:( bed sheets changed and more things decluttered. I also started sewing dd1s patchwork quilt together, I'm about half way through it now and only 3 weeks until her birthday:eek:
One of my eBay items has tripled in price which is very exciting, two things finish tomorrow so I'd like to make over £50. This money is going to have to go towards the new kitchen as we need to buy accessories like light fittings, kitchen stools etc. I'm still making my regular overpayments but probably won't have too much extra until all the kitchen stuff is paid for.
Hoping for a very LSW this week as most social things are at friends houses. Dd2 has a party to go to on Sunday but I may have something suitable to re-gift from Christmas. Will just need to get a card. Dd2's birthday is also in 3 weeks and I'm doing a joint party with a friend so I need to start getting organised for that. Dh is going to design the invites tonight so we can get them sent out ths week.:T I'll be glad when all these birthdays are over:rotfl:
No jogging today not too good with the calorie counting either, will do better tomorrow:cool:

Morning,
£77.01 made on eBay yesterday:T one item is being collected today and the other at the weekend.
Lsd yesterday, just £2 on playgroup and some chocolate to make rice crispie cakes - a special request from dd2. I'm hoping today will be the same, I'm going to a friends for lunch so I'll take some nice biscuits or cakes. I also need to take back a jumper I bought dh in the sales, it's the last day to return it today.
I have some veg that are looking less than healthy so I'm going to make some soup to put in the freezer. I'm really loving my soup maker! Mil got it right for once:D
I'm feeling very chaotic and unorganised at the moment, my house is in complete chaos which is making my mind feel cluttered. It's going to get worse before it gets better too:eek: I'm going to make a list and work through it slowly
Have a good day

Hello, my target for a LSW is going well, I'd say I've probably spent less than £10 so far this week:T just the weekend to get through and hopefully I'll have at least £20 to put in the tin:T
Dh and I have decided to go to an auction tomorrow:eek: we've never been before so we're quite excited and also a little nervous that we might get carried away. We went to look at the lots today and there are a couple of things that we like the look of so we need to give ourselves a price to stick to. Dh will be in charge of the paddle so if it all goes wrong he's to blame:rotfl:
I did some more decluttering yesterday, mainly of the children's books. As much as I hate to get rid of books they just had so many of them that it was impossible to see what was on the shelves, so 2 bags have books have been put in the carboot box.
Not much else to report, dd1 and I have just been watching some nectar adpoints (she likes pressing the tick:)) and now we are about to watch our Friday night film - stardust tonight. And I'm having a well deserved glass of wine.
Ooh just remembered, we have a bid on the kitchen:T it finishes tomorrow so hopefully there will be a flurry at the last minute.
