Use three Inclusive minutes to call 07744

Hi

One of my friend told me that o7744 nos are not being charged by 3 network, i used that number to call srilanka, last month by making three different calls at different times and now i received my paper bill and guess what?

I have not been charged for those numbers.

When you call 07744 numbers from a 3 Mobile Contract,you get a recorded announcement saying calls are charged at normal rates,and it gives you option not to continue call.

You are right.I haven't been charged for calling this number from my 3G as well.

i would be cautious as this could be a billing error on 3's part and they may bill you retrospectively. 3 in their terms and conditions state they charge for these calls.

EDIT: Although looking at these terms and conditions: http://www.three.co.uk/BlobServer.srv?blobdir=ImportantDoc&blobfile=may_priceguide_4a.pdf they dont state the charges for 07744/55 so maybe a change in their pricing policy? I'd still be cautious and would recommend checking your original terms and conditions just in case you are charged in a future bill.

Make short calls and take your paper bill as proof of the fact that these were coming from inclusive minutes

very interesting. this has made three more attractive than orange in terms of international calling if this is true...

Yes but they will catch on very quickly. 3 systems are new so it's likely they already know about this.

So not worth it in the long haul.

Well, this is an interesting thread.

I have to say, I too called a 07744 number months back from '3', and wasn't charged on it. But, haven't tried it recently.

I certainly hope this new development stays for the long term.

Could some of our resident experts here or somebody like Reestit Mutton share their views on this.
