You know I love you right xThat's insane, Lara! Must be good to have that part over with though, hope you're getting plenty R&R time
London was lovely, think we timed it well to have the last "good" day before Autumny/Winter set in. Been nothing but rain and fog my way since, which I love but it wouldn't have been great for Baby K or Tink on her bike! Glad everyone got home safe, I'm waiting on everyone elses photos. Namely the one Dinah took of our food because I'm having a hell of a time trying to describe how they served it to us. I accidentally used the phrase "Jail Tray" and think I've given off the wrong impression of the placeOur adventures must have sounded fun to my OH though, convinced him we should go for the night over our anniversary so we're back down in December. It's nothing short of a miracle as he hates London with this weirdly impressive passion!
That wedding does sound lovely CMD, we should have ditched our plans and just crashed
Erm, I only took one photo and most of what I got was boobs. I didn't get any heads in for definite. I'll see if I got the food in when I get home.
Busy hospitally day yesterday, Grace had her winter cold jabs for the month in the morning, then in the afternoon it was the first meeting with the geneticist. Short story from him is it is possible she has mosaic dna, which causes acd to be present in some parts of the lung and not others. He's requesting her slides and tissue samples then working together with the doctor in Texas to work out the next steps.
No money news really. NIM has had hardly any work this month so next month is going to be hellish. I need to ebay some stuff to try to build us up a fund, but I'm working so much that's not possible at the moment. Hopefully at the weekend if I don't have housework/ironing to catch up on. Last night I even fell asleep on the sofa while NIM and Grace were playing beside me.
NIM has also lost the evening shifts, as his care home have stopped offering them. This is a big loss to us as it was the time of day he could usually work, getting him into work has become a lot more urgent. Mum has also said if dad gets back into work she'll be going halftime to spend more time with Grace, which would be brilliant for all concerned. The govt unemployment figures !!!! me off, neither dad nor NIM earn over about £200 this month, but neither qualify for unemployment benefit so are classed as employed - but its nothing they could live off! I know so many people in this transient employment state desperate for more hours or more stability, but clinging to what they can get.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
That is ridiculous Dinah . People who don't even care about working seem to get more.
That would be great if your mum could look after Grace . They would both love it.0 -
I can only upload the group photo next weekend, I only brought a tablet with me and no cables for uploading pictures.0

Aww, she sounds lovely Kavics!
Sorry to hear about NIM's shifts, Dinah. Hope they pick up soon. It annoys me too about the government stats. I know a lot of people under employed, the system is really working against themI will be soon
Wow the wedding sounded good CMD!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

Did you say you needed a tiny suit for a wedding Birdie? So cute!
Cute suit:)
I hope NIM gets work soon Dinah. You are doing amazingly well with your debt signature so don't feel too downhearted. It would be brilliant if your Mum could go part-time. Does your Dad have any job interviews lined up? My Mum is part-time and my Dad just retired this summer so from next week they will be minding my 2. We will save €440 per month so that will be diverted into paying these debts off. But most of all, it will be fantastic that they are being minded by their GrandparentsTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
DFD:Nov 22/June 22
Mortgage: €199,712
MFD: March 2042/July 20340
