How was it then ladies and gentlemen?
Dinah and NIM - i saw you were seconds from my work at wahaca!0 -
It was a really good day Wendz.
Even though Lucy, Dinah, NIM and I were stupidly late due to signal failures on the line! Bit of a mad rush to get things done and we ended up going off plan for lunch since they couldn't fit us all into Ed's Diner but we went to Jamie's Diner instead which was very nice so overall I'd say the day was a success.
Was very fed up of train travel by the time I got home though, especially as a load of drunk people got on the train at York after a day at the races and the carriage stank of booze and they were so loud I could barely hear the conductor announce when we were nearly at my stop!
OH had had a sneaky night out too, he'd apparently planned to come home before me but ended up crashing a wedding where they were giving him free food and beer so he stayed 'till the end! Wasn't feeling well yesterday but I had little sympathy!

In swirly Martin news, I've e-mailed scans of my ticket to Grand Central in search of compo since the delay was so long. :money:Looks like I'll only get 20-25% back though which is about £3-odd since my ticket out was so much cheaper than the return! Sounds lovely apart from the delay!
My weekend was good. We went to a farm and cuddled micro pigs which was so cute and was good catching up with my friends.0 -

Glad you all had a good time. Sounds like a bit of a nightmare with the trains.
I still can't believe I was so close in distance to you all! We were literally a 1 minute walk to Kings Cross. The wedding I was at went really well. There was a vintage vibe to it and the bride wore Vivienne Westwood!

Hey Peeps
Glad you had a good meet. I ended up working in the end. I overshot my deadline. But I've now got a completed first draft of my whole thesis. I feel so much better for having got to this stage.
I'm knackered now, I've worked 28 days straight - that's a whole February! Well, with 2 afternoons off.
Hugs to all xx:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Sounds very knackering Lara! Hope you get a bit of a rest soon.
Wedding sounds fab CMD! We are off to a wedding Friday, looking forward to it.0 -
That's insane, Lara! Must be good to have that part over with though, hope you're getting plenty R&R time
London was lovely, think we timed it well to have the last "good" day before Autumny/Winter set in. Been nothing but rain and fog my way since, which I love but it wouldn't have been great for Baby K or Tink on her bike! Glad everyone got home safe, I'm waiting on everyone elses photos. Namely the one Dinah took of our food because I'm having a hell of a time trying to describe how they served it to us. I accidentally used the phrase "Jail Tray" and think I've given off the wrong impression of the placeOur adventures must have sounded fun to my OH though, convinced him we should go for the night over our anniversary so we're back down in December. It's nothing short of a miracle as he hates London with this weirdly impressive passion!
That wedding does sound lovely CMD, we should have ditched our plans and just crashed0
