She is heavy though, well chubby:rotfl:. And doesn't like cuddles. I had an ice cream yesterday and she stole most of it and gave me a long sweet cuddle:o. She is 8 months old and has no interest in moving but loves eating. All the time:o.

I think Baby K will fit in fine in that case, Kavics ;) The more babies the merrier IMHO! (I'm hoping Wendz brings Poppy!)

I was mainly looking at early trains because they're cheaper, I'll just keep checking. I really don't know why they cost so much. I might end up on the Megabus :D was only a £12 return (mentally blocking out the part where I was up at 4:30am and not home until 1am)

The thought of going on the Megabus fills me with dread, I hate long car/bus journeys! A few months ago a girl at work went to London on the Megabus and was bragging about it only costing £20... when we asked her about it on the Monday after she said 'Ooooh don't talk about it! Never again!' :p

Baby K definitely sounds like she'll fit right in with us fatties! :)

I usually book with EastCoast if I am travelling as free ticket delivery or they do e-print these days. Looking at the site, tickets are only available to buy in advance till Friday 11th October. Tickets usually come out on a Friday so they should be out tomorrow. I usually found that the best prices did not go up till 10 weeks before so start checking tomorrow and keep you eye out.

Looks like there is some engineering work which is making services run up to 90 minutes longer than usual:

Amended service in the Peterborough, Grantham and Newark Northgate areas from 13:15 on Saturday 12 until 12:05 on Sunday 13 October 2013

    East Coast
An hourly (approximate) service will run to / from London Kings Cross, diverting between Peterborough and Doncaster via Lincoln and not calling at Grantham, Newark Northgate and Retford.
Some trains are amended to run between Newark North Gate and Leeds / Bradford Forster Square and also Newark North Gate / Doncaster and Newcastle, Edinburgh & Aberdeen.
Replacement buses will run between Peterborough, Grantham and Newark North Gate.
Journey times may be extended by up to 90 minutes.

    Grand Central
Trains are amended and diverted between Peterborough and Doncaster, journey times may be extended by up to 90 minutes.
The 16:48 (Saturday) London Kings Cross to Sunderland and 17:29 (Saturday) Sunderland to London Kings Cross, will not run.

That'll be why it'll take me 4 hours Poolie :( I don't actually mind long train journeys, as long as I know about them beforehand and have my book etc (AND FOOD) :D

£20 for the megabus!! That's not even that cheap!

LOL, I'm not sure if that was for 2 people maybe?!

I'm quite happy on long train journeys too as long as I've got a book, food and my tablet with something fun to watch/games for when/if I want a break from reading. :)
