You are very lucky Birdie :-). My OH used to wake in the morning and say 'she didn't wake up last night did she?' umm no only every other hour lol. He is a bit better now though but she usually runs past him and tries to jump on me .
Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Mine was really nice. Took Poppy swimming on saturday and then yesterday we had a bbq and sil, bil and 6 month old niece came up which was really nice.0 -
Hope you're out in the sun again enjoying your paperwhite Birdie.
Snatching a quick few minutes to post while NIM and Grace are at the doctors. She's had what we initially thought was hayfever but now its clearly a cold or laryngitis or something for nearly a week now. She's finding it a bit hard to breathe, and coughing a lot with a hoarse voice. NIM now has it too so he's taken his first day off work in about 2 years. So they've gone to see if they need antibiotics or if the doc can give anything to help Grace breathe.
Money is still at a standstill. Not good. So I'm going to aim for 3 positive money steps this week, as that seems doable.
1. Send off all benefit forms (child tax credits/maternity allowance/employment support allowance) - don't think we're entitled to all these at present but still worth checking. Definitely entitled to maternity allowance though.
2. List 30 things on Amazon and update all prices for things already up. We have a LOT of stuff to sell, most of it is for ebay but Amazon is so much quicker. I'm also thinking I might just trade in a load of clothes on music magpie, and sell all Grace's clothes/toys at the next NCT sale, so much quicker even if it won't necessarily bring in quite as much money and at this point I think having £10 in our pocket now is worth more than £14 eventually.
3. List 5 things on Ebay. Probably focussing on things which are in the way rather than things that make the most money at this point!
Garden has been finished and we're thrilled with it, will try to post pictures later. Grace is very happy to be able to run about outside although we're having to heavily water in the lawn so it will set in and that's making it very damp through most of the following day.
Blood pressure is behaving itself really nicely, shockingly. 18 days till I pass the big Grace was born date, 31 until I reach 30 weeks which was what I always set as the goal for this pregnancy. Another growth scan on Thursday, and then I see the consultant Friday, if the scan is positive this time I might just start to believe we're going to get past where we did last time.
Birdie, I saw a message off you somewhere, I'm not sure if it was in a post or an email or fb but I can't find it at all now. We'd love to see you and meet Zach, but I've been hanging off on replying until Grace has shifted this cold as it's the last thing he needs. Hopefully by the middle of the week she'll be clear and we can look to set something up later in the week or next week or something?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

No sun in Scotland, it's depressing me seeing everyone on facebook BBQing and sunbathing. Least no need for the old factor 30.
18 days sounds so achievable, you can do it! Glad the blood pressure is behaving.

Really glad the BP is behaving. Not long now till you reach your target.
Hope Grace and NIM both feel better soon.
Hopefully you can make a bit of money but don't get stressed over it. Yours and babies health is most important.
Archers - sorry to hear the weather hasn't been as good up there. It's going downhill here now so don't worry!
Also got some news which some of you already know that I am joining the club and having another baby. Just had our scan this morning and looking all good.0 -
Yay Wendz! :j Great news, when are you due?
Hope Gracie and NIM are on the mend.I'll come visit one day next week Dinah, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday afternoons are good for me.
Sorry you didn't get the weather this weekend Archers. It's been lovely here which made me feel less resentful about OH being away as it was pretty much the same temperature here as it was in Spain!

Really glad your scan went well Wendz, I saw your news on the less than 12 weeks thread, but didn't want to seem stalkery. Really excited for you.
I'll get back to you on when Birdie, mum Grace and I are going to go to the dales for a few days next week, but will either be Mon-Wed or Thur-Sat I think. We're not booking anything until I see the consultant on Friday and get the all clear that little man is happy in there.
Grace is coughing like a demon, NIM is improved although not brilliant, I woke up at 2am with splitting pain in my ears and throat, so I think it's been shared with me too. Thankfully Tuesday pm is when mum usually has Grace, so I'm off to acupuncture then having a long, long, long bath before she comes home.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

All good baby news all round :j So glad your scan went well Wendz and that the bp is steady Dinah.
Glad you got toasty weather Birdie - I read it was nicer here than some parts of Spain even, haha! Just think you can store up those brownie points for a weekend away yourself too.
Sorry the sun didn't quite reach you Archers - hopefully soon. I think it will be a nice summer.
Things all good here, 35 weeks today :j Just working and DIYing away before this baby arrives. OH parents visiting this long weekend, so that will be quite full on.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
