Happy belated birthday Birdie, sorry I didn't get on yesterday, had a horrendous day. Grace had a terrible night as she has a bad cold, which hits her badly due to her lungs, so she slept in with us but was waking crying and choking every 30 minutes or so and was sick a few times. In total we got about 3 hours sleep. Then when we woke up we had the horrific news that a friend of ours's two year old was diagnosed with leukemia. So I spent the day cuddling Grace thankful that all she has is a rotten cold and sub-par lungs and heart.

25 weeks +1 day today. 20 days until I pass where I was with Grace. BP being better this week on my nice new levels of tablets, not great but not rising any more. So I'm scared but optimistic (mostly scared because I'm optimistic) that we'll get further this time. 30 weeks is what I consider my realistic but hopeful goal. 34 days on that one. Wow, that seems such a tiny amount of time left. I'm so not ready to be done being pregnant, possibly for ever. It's scary, and I'm not very good at it, but I love it none the less.

Have some guys here laying the new lawn today, so excited that for the first time in 4 years we'll have a garden, and that a small part of my redundancy went towards something we can enjoy rather than all just vanishing into the black hole of debt repayments.

Date night tonight, first this year I think - very excited.

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Had a nice day but all I really wanted was a decent sleep and I didn't get it! :( OH gave me a Kindle Paperwhite though which made me happy (after the Christmas debacle when I was so sure he'd surprise me with one but he just gave me a load of cheap tat instead! :p).

OH has gone on a stag do until Sunday and I'm super tired already! I've done OH's night shift the last 2 nights as well as the early mornings so I'll be a zombie by the time he gets home! He kept moaning about being picked up at 4.50am and how tired he's going to be and I got really annoyed... I'd happily go to Spain for 3 days instead of him, the way he was going on about it you'd think he was going to be working, not sitting in the sun drinking all day with his best friends! :p

Hope Grace is feeling better now Dinah. Poor love. :( Terrible news about your friend's little one too, hope treatment is successful.

Nice that you're getting the garden sorted, will be lovely for Grace to be able to play out all summer! :) Enjoy your date night!

Does your OH do a night feed every night? Lucky you if he does! How many weeks is Zach now and what times does he wake at? He will start to stretch it out soon. One morning you will wake up in a panic because he hasn't woken!!!

OH does until 3 every night. :) I don't know how I'd have coped if he never helped! :o His wake-ups vary from 1am-5am, wish there was some routine to it, but it seems random! Zach's been so good whilst OH's been away though, woke at 4 yesterday morning then slept until about 7.30 and this morning he woke at 5, had a bit of a chat and wriggle about until 6.30 and he's just woken up! :) He's 12 weeks tomorrow and I have no idea how he got so old so soon! :p
