Just a quick post. Something I want to run by people. I work on a self-employed basis with my employer. I send an invoice in every month and get paid. Payment dates vary and I still haven't been paid for January. Would it be cheeky to send a text asking if payment had been made
I have a meeting with my boss next wk and am going to ask to get a set date to be paid as it makes things very stressful as it is 11 days until OH gets paid.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Email is safer. Text is potentially crossing the personal life/business life line. This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.:j:j:j:j0

Could you e-mail him then text saying something like 'Have e-mailed you but having issues at this end, can you check you've received it?' as a nudge to check?! Hope you get paid soon, must be stressful not knowing when the money's coming in.

Hi Birdie,
How are you feeling? Rest up as much as you can. Try and go to the cinema as well and get as much in as possible before your gorgeous whirlwind arrives.
I think I will just go with the email and mention a date at the meeting next week.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
