Aww my Mum and Dad have a Christmas anniversary too, Birdie! So does my sister. It's such a nice time of year to tie the knot I think, already very festive :)

Hope you're having a lovely time with the family, CMD. You must be so delighted to have a get-together in person.

Well I have some good news - I'm pregnant again and just had my 12 week scan and everything was good :j It's probably been pretty obvious to anyone on the Families board for a while now. We are grateful to have another chance, and to be through the most precarious bit :D

Congratulations Lara! That is lovely news, so happy for you!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Birdie hope you enjoyed the anniversary meal.

My weekend was quite quiet. Went for dinner with two mum friends on Friday then just chilled at home most the weekend with Poppy. She is obsessed with Home alone and keeps telling me she is at home on her own lol.

Aww Lara! Congratulations! That's such good news. It seems that everyone I know is pregnant at the moment or has just had a child.

I feel like a proper old maid being off the booze! Madeira was okay, to be honest we both just felt so horribly tired and weird we just chilled out. It's great to be back home and get back to normal a bit. I'm looking forward to getting a bit more Christmassy now - shopping tomorrow on Oxford Street, eeeek!

My internship got cancelled which is a bit of a blow. Remember that happened this time last year too?! Double bad luck. So that will be a little less cash in next year's kitty - shame, as I had already spent loads of it in my head :rotfl: Oh well, I will be a [STRIKE]lady of leisure[/STRIKE] big jobseeker.

Thanks for the congrats ladies, I am buzzing today!

Congratulations Lara, lovely news :) Sorry to hear about the internship, but something will come along I'm sure. You are brave to head to Oxford St! Even popping into my little town drove me crazy today, I bit my tongue so many times I'm surprised there's any tongue left!

Lol at Poppy and her Home Alone routine Wendz!

I had a good weekend, had our works Xmas do on Friday, went to see Santa on Saturday with some friends and their little one and later that day got myself a tattoo  and didn't cry or pass out or anything! Then spent Sunday getting up to date with The Walking Dead so that people on Twitter/Facebook stop ruining it for me with their careless spoilers :p

Glad you got your S&G Birdie, its like a thread tradition!

Did you survive Oxford Street Lara?! :) Rubbish about the internship being cancelled, hope you find something else soon.

It's so nice to know that the Home Alone love is passing down to the next generation! ;)

What did you get a tattoo of Shrimpy?! And where is it? This surely counts as something arty to share on the FB group! ;)

Massive congrats, Lara! Hope everything is going smoothly for you so you can enjoy the pregnancy :) Sending lots of hugs, and I hope you survived Oxford Street. We were there Friday night and no, just no

You can't say "tattoo" and just leave us there Shrimpy!!

Bless Poppy, Home Alone is one of the best Crimmus movies :) At least she's not calling people filthy animals ;)

I was so tempted to get the S&G box but think I've missed my chance :( Only saw them in London and thought about how I'm lazy and don't like carrying things so I left it..
