The co-op is the one that annoys me the most. I can always tell when a product will be on special, as they hike the price dramatically for a short period and then reduce it and claim it's now half price. Winds me up :)

    All are guilty.......

I have noticed though that it seems to be the same products that are usually "Half" (or better than) Half Price - for example,

Muller products (is a pack of 6 corner yoghurts really worth the best part of £4.00)? No chance!

Hardy's wines - frequently 'half price' at just over a fiver - which is OK - but certainly not worth £10.00+.

Magnum ice cream lollies - about right at around £1.50 - nowhere near value at 3 quid plus which is their 'standard' price.

Friji milk drinks - again, nowhere near their 'normal price of over a quid - but OK when they are 'on offer'.

Just a few examples, but how do the they get away with it???

These prices 'do the rounds' - when they end at Tesco's, they start at Sainsbury's, or Morrison's etc....

I'm just curious...would you vent like this if the offer was buy 1 get 2nd half price on loo rolls or some other product with no shelf life?

I cant believe its not butter - was £1 for a 0.5l tub, now its £1 for a 0.5l tub that is "x % more for the same price as the regular .4l tub.

    What a load of codswallop!
