Stuart has my sympathy, I'd never hurt an animal but I must say it's hard to keep my patience, we have a lot of local cats who stalk my two bunnies obviously thinking it's meal time.
One positive is that they seem to be well trained and we don't often find a mess
Would love to be able to block them out but it seems impossible in our garden, if only I could get the ScareCrow to only target cats and leave my bunnies alone.

Apparently cats hate tin foil, but I do worry about what your neighbours will think of your mental health when you start wrapping your fence in it, lol.

Since when is it okay if something is annoying you to go and kill it?

When they are a pest like Pigeons; rats and rabbits.

have to agree with the op...cats are a pain around here but it does pass the hours sat at the upstairs window with water pistols filled with water and garlic mix...still they get treated better than the rats who find out what the laser sighting on my pistol is for!

Why should other people put up with cats if they don't like them? Cat owners can easly keep them with-in their propoerty with the correct fencing.

My cat is like Houdini! I'd have a job keeping him in!
  • just get a cat of your own :D a male cats territory is about the width of 2-3 average houses, meaning any cats in that range he will fight off his territory. .......... just don't get a female or you will be running the cat version of a free love festival twice a year x3

Can I just say that - it is not "your" garden.
    It is not "your" fence.

It is there for the cats, they are the worlds owners and anything we do here - like live in a house etc is only with their permission.

Can they help it if you live right next to their toilet.
    :)
  • I have a cat and a dog. My cat does not go out because of the nutjobs in the neighbourhood. A neighbour's cat had hot water thrown on it!!!

We used to get a few cats using our garden as a toilet alot, then, we got a dog and the cats have never been seen again!
