if i do this, i will get £55 cashback, £30 reccomendation = £85 in quidco in 3mths? i cant see anywhere that the 6288 on direct text 675 is included.

you get 55 in quidco in 3 months and 30 taken off your bill in about 3 months too - i have just recomended my friend she got the 6288 via quidco on 600txt and 75 mins - her £55 has tracked through quidco fine.

I have just had a look on quidco and it doesnt say anything about the 6288 not being included.

Even your quote above is wrong. The dog is after the 675 tariff NOT the 500 text. I think you should read posts properly before reply.

it has to be said though that quidco never guarantee the money but quidco state that 96% of order through them have tracked.

im just not sure 3's the way to go for me.

is it delivered via royal mail? so will the post office hold onto it if its delivered wednesday or thursday, and hold it til sat for me?

My son ordered a new phone from 3, not realising he had 6 months left of his old contract with 02 (18 months as opposed to a 12 month). He works away and asked me if I could cancel. I did and they persuaded me (i'm a soft touch!) that if he dropped his 02 contract to the most basic package they would give him the first month free. I said okay. :rolleyes: When I came off the phone my dh said I should have just held out and cancelled, so I phoned 3 back and told them I really needed to cancel. They gave me the speil about how it was all in the system and would be difficult to stop now (blah blah blah, which I knew wasn't strictly true, but as I said i'm soft). Then they said they could give me the 2nd month free, so I said okay again. My son has now dropped his 02 contract to the cheapest he can, and he's getting his 1st 2 months free plus getting £40 cashback in the 4th month. He's happy enough with that, as it's his own fault for taking on a new contract before checking how long his current contract had to run!

So if you've ordered, maybe you can try and cancel and see what they offer you.

Why do you say this? I phoned customer services a couple of times and had no problems. I'm pretty certain it's based in the UK too as it wasn't foreigners I spoke to.

not sure who delivered the phone cant remember if it is royl mail or not - there website doesnt state but you could try the live chat with the sales agent and ask them - they will give you a code for a free blue tooth headset aswell.

I get poor signal where i live in vodafone so im guessing im going to suffer with 3. I intend to use the 3 services for msn but now you lot said u cant access services with low signal. So if i roam to orange or o2, i cant use the msn service?

When you click the link the 6288 comes up on the deal. I think that all phones offered on this tariff are included.

As mentioned in another thread today, I signed up for their 18 month half-price VT1000 for £17.50. No hassles with cashbacks etc from third parties but straight off my monthly bill (i.e., sending bills off in certain sequence etc, and one wrong move you've had it). I'm down in London and the signal is fine. 3G is great too as I get the free TV clips from their Planet 3 portal. Tried out video-calling for the first time too and that worked well.
Also no problems with their CS (yet ! - fingers crossed). They have always answered the calls promptly and professionally so far. Let's hope it keeps this way for the next 18 months - if not, I'll be in trouble :eek:
