There will be a mid-season sale before the boxing day sale, if i remember correctly this will be about October, i will check tommorow and get the dates.

Ohh i forgot to mention, the returns policy changed at the last sale from 28 days to return to 14 days. This wasn't strictly enforced as it was the first time it has happened and most customers don't read the backs of the receipt. However starting this sale it will be strictly enforced and no returns will be accepted after 14 days (faulty items excepted). The till knows the date of purchase even without a receipt as each item has a unique barcode, and it won't allow a return.

the Next sale is on the same weekend every year, i have been going since 2002 and can work out what saturday its on from the year before date, in 2012 the dates were 24 march, 14 july, 22 sep and 26 dec, just keep these dates and you will know for future years, the week before i go on-line and check the opening times and the saturday will say opening at either 6am or 7am,

Last year sale was Saturday 14th July and first VIP slot was on the Wednesday.

i get a tx from Next to tell me when the VIP slots are out, last year i got the tx and ran across the school site to get to a computer to log on and get one (i'm only a cleaner so didn't leave children to run amuck lol)

If the sale is on the 13th July - does any know from last year when they usually send out the VIP invites? I have deleted all my previous emails, but I think it may be the Monday before for slots to start on the Wednesday, does that sound right? (so 8th July to start shopping on 11th July?)

i have looked at my old emails but dont have any for vip slots, and read my diary as i mit have wrote it in there but sorry no joy, but think you are right, i get tx messages that they have sent them out

Last year I got my email on the mond 9th for a vip slot on the wed 11th.
so this year should be Mon 8th for first slots on wed 10th.

The rules have got tougher too

VIP SALE Selection Criteria - Please Read Carefully...

To be selected for an invitation you must:

1. Have a Next flexible credit account with at least £250 credit available.

2. Have placed and kept an order from the Next Directory this season.

3. Have an up to date email address and be registered to receive sale and promotional emails. (You can amend or update your e-mail address when you sign into your account online.)

4. Have received a current season copy of the Next Directory.

5. Have returned less than two thirds of the items you’ve ordered.

i have seen this before and i still get a VIP slot and i only have 2 of the 5 above points
