Leak Next Summer Sale Dates

Hi everyone, just a quick leak to say the summer sale at Next will be on Saturday 13th July.

It may be my first post but i also have another account with 100's of post, but i work for them and don't really fancy getting sacked

Do you know if this is this a proper summer sale with the current spring/summer stock being shifted for the autumn/winter stock or is it going to be another 'leftovers from last sale' sale? Have my eye on a few items in the current collection and don't mind waiting to get them if they will be reduced.

The sale system with all the prices hasn't gone live yet and only does about 2 weeks before the first day of sale. However from the stock we are receiving its going to be a a good sale i can hazard a guess that it is going to be mainly current collection.

Also if anyone is interested in furniture, display models are usually reduced about 2 weeks before sale to allow more space on the shopfloor during the sale.

If you have a directory account you might get an invite to the online sale, just remember to pay it all off on the next statement because the interest is crippling

Hi everyone,
Just been asked a question about how you can check if an item is going in the sale.

Firstly don't ask the staff, we won't tell you and its can cause disciplinary action if we are caught including the sack, hence my posting under a different account.

Ok to check if an item is going in the sale you first must visit a store after the 1st July.

On the tickets you will see a letter and number combination EG B12 usually in pencil. The letter is just the colour of the ticket to be used and the number is the sale price in this case Blue £12.

Occasionally the combination is smudged or missing, just look on another size. If it is illegible just half the price and that is the likely price although some prices are lower. The minimum discount is always 50%.

Finally if you find what you want, don't ask staff to hold them, they won't, Also if you reserve something on the phone with a store they won't hold it until sale day if it is a sale item, it will be put on the shop floor and sold.

The only way to guarantee you get what you want is by being at the store at opening time or getting a temp job for the sale days.

Thanks for this fontofnoknowledge - i knew it was july from last years orders but wasnt entirely sure when. Does anyone know how much earlier the vip slots start? It would be great if someone could help, thanks x
