Cooltrikerchick - hello and welcome! Never underestimate the power of the PAD! Its very addictive however small and each penny PADded is one off the debt. Dont ever think a PADding will ever be noticed by your CC as no human will look at it whilst you are making minimum payments - and TBH I doubt humans look at it if you are not ;)

My PADs are made up of all payments made to CCs - the overpayments are what I make up from tidying up the bank account each day and anything that I have got from Eb*y sales/surveys/vouchers. Everyone has a different approach to what is essentially the same goal - debt freedom:)

    Hi Igamogam

I worked really hard to become debt free ( apart from mortgage) and saved loads to buy a smallholding to do up... and basically the loan, credit cards just stemmed from there.. we still have and live in our mortgaged house, while trying to find extra money to do the smallholding up... so this is why I love the 'pad' as its going to be those odd £ or two you can lose ( meaning pay towards a debt) without noticing it...

Yes it is addictive, and this is only my second day...lol

As I pay minimum payments on 3 credit cards and as much as possible off my highest interest card. The minimum payments come down on them all.
Every month I set my figure at what they were when I started paying them say £70 on one card as this minimum payment reduces to say £65 I then pay the extra £5 of my chosen card.
So today I have decluttered the bank account and paid the difference off my chosen card.

So today's pad is made up of these and it's £23.44 :j

I'm so close now to paying 10% off my total debt since I started ( I like targets)
Keep on padding everyone it works
As of 24th August 2016 total money owed was
    £15,708
