I'm not giving up, I'm starting over

I have this week given up on an extremely destructive quasi-relationship.

It has wrecked my head and broken my heart. I've got into debt over this man and put a good two stone on comfort eating over him.

Well no more.

I am going on a big girls night out tomorrow, finishing the junk food etc off on Sunday and then starting Monday am is a new Top Girl; one who respects herself, her bank account and her body in equal measures.

Wish me luck please MSE people?

Thanks everyone. I have so many good things coming up; I have an amazing child, loads of plans with friends when he's with his dad (not the destructive one, thankfully) and so much to *hopefully* keep me busy.

I feel like I've finally wised up and it feels amazing.

This is the first day of the rest of your life. You sound liberated and so happy and I have no doubt you will go on to have a brilliant future. Good luck to you and all the best.
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
