I have accumulated quite a lot of ipoints. Can I just keep saving them and get my vouchers at Xmas. Any help appreciated.

You can do this, but why would you want to? Saving with any firm is a bit risky at the moment - supposing ipoints go out of business before Christmas, you would lose all your points!

Obviously I join you in sincerely hoping this will NOT happen, but this is what I would do, if you want to save for Christmas.

Cash in your vouchers as you get enough points, for supermarkets you actually spend money at. If you can use more than one of the ipoints supermarkets, do so - then if one suddenly goes bust, you won't have lost all your money.

Open a special saving account at a bank (the higher the interest, the better!), and every time you use a £10 voucher, put £10 of your housekeeping money (the £10 you would have spent in that supermarket) into that account. DO NOT TOUCH THIS MONEY UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

When Christmas comes, you then have a pot which will also have accumulated interest! :j

I appreciate this won't directly buy something like a PSP slim in the same way, but if you cost one out on the basis that 2470 points is worth £10, you may be able to buy the item you have set your heart on cheaper, in any case......

  • My Asda shopping vouchers came yesterday - I'd given up on them really .

Im gonna get my other ipoints cashed in as soon as i get enough for some vouchers - as with todays market nothing seems to be safe . Asda vouchers are a good bet though as they always have good deals on cd's , dvd's , books and electronics.

Got my ipod from ipoints near christmas - so i was well happy .

I ordered my vouchers on the 23rd and they came yesterday - They do say they can take up to 14 days but it seems like they may have been having problem with the vouchers not been in stock and probably been swamped over christmas .

Maybe email them or just leave it a week and hopefully they should come . Hope they come for you . Im gonna sell mine to my mum - as id rather have the cash to go towrads my mortage fund.

Usually at least 2 weeks, so you should get them within the next day or so.

  • Re Golden Lounge,

As far as I know iPoints are still waiting for Golden Lounge to tell them which users qualified for the points, iPoints can not do anything until they receive the list from Golden Lounge.

I'm not holding my breath over this 1 :( and probably won't bother with another casino 1. I did loads of bingo 1s on Quidco last year and most paid up.

only been on this site since last night, but seems a good site. I think with all the free points available it shouldnt be too hard to be able to get some decent things off it! How long is it taking roughly to get these points onto your account? I know it says upto 30 days on some of them, but surely some must come up sooner than that?!

I chased for my Golden Lounge iPoints just before Christmas and then again yesterday. I had a screenshot of my account details (that I managed to get Golden Lounge themselves to send me :j) to prove I met the wagering requirement of deposit £35 and spend both it and the £35 bonus. After yesterday's email my 17000 points were credited today. So it can still happen ... so don't give up yet. Make sure you always keep sign-up emails and take screenshots of deposits and game history.

    Good luck,

Some of the bigger 'investments' such as casinos can take even longer than 30 days - when you contact ipoints to ask about your points after 30 days, they ask you to wait for 45 days or even longer in some cases. On the more positive side, make sure your email address is up to date as clickthroughs from are credited immediately and surveys are also quite quick to earn you points.
