  • The ipoints website is still up - it's just that most people's web browsers can't find it because they haven't renewed the ipoints.co.uk domain.

If it's desperately important that anyone needs to visit the site, it can be done. Here's how I did it. I offer no warranty on this - it works for me on my Windows XP PC. It may or may not work for you.

First, click Start, then Run. Type:

    notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.

The dot at the end of the above line is important. When the window appears, you should see a dozen or so lines starting with #. If so, add this line to the bottom of the file.

    195.68.41.197 www.ipoints.co.uk

Save the file. Now open your browser and type www.ipoints.co.uk. It should work.

When you've finished, be sure to repeat the procedure but this time remove the line, otherwise you may have trouble when/if the site comes back up.

works a treat thanks for that :)
  • I have just emailed Ipoints in light of all the problems that we seem to have been experiencing with the site (using the helpful post provided above) and had the very swift response detailed below - they must have been sitting on their inbox, unless it was an automated response, cos it came through within a minute of receiving an acknowledgement of my message to them. Hope it helps.

    "Thank you for your email.

I would like to advise you that this event occurred due to a connectivity
problem we are facing. This should be resolved by today.

Please accept our sincere apologies regarding any inconvenience you may
    have experienced.

    Kindest regards,

I received an email survey from iPoints today about mobile phones. I completed 99% only to be told I didn't qualify! I've sent iPoints an email asking them to award the 300 points.

I got a rapid response from ipoints.

    Hi David,

Thanks for your email. It is likely that your views were registered and that you will receive the points for this survey. We were experiencing a problem with our site which has now been resolved. Once the survey has closed we will receive a report of all members that have completed the survey. Please wait 30 days to see if you have been credited with the points for this survey, and feel free to get back to us if you still have not received the points at that stage. Please include this email and your survey reference number if you do need to re-contact us regarding this survey.

    Kind Regards,

Has anyone signed up for casino.com and Mansioncasino.com offer.....and got their points....????? How long does it take.

Both of them have got 12,500 ipoints each for wagering £26....

Offer seems to be good but I was bit worried to sign up as I did not receive the points for signing up to Littlewoods bingo.....???? Still chasing for the same....

  • I would not worry about vouchers which had not arrived since 19th Dec. Received my vouchers today which were ordered on 11th. I had contacted them to double check the vouchers were on their way, and they said there had been a delay with supplier. :)
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

Have you already signed up to the casino site's idlesaver ?
Just asking because a lot of us signed up to Golden Lounge Casino
well over a month ago and as yet we've received nothing.
I won't be doing any more casino's as I think we've been conned
    on this one.
I've been trying to contact ipoints via their website with my email
confirmation but when I click on "confirm" button nothing happens.
It won't let me contact customer services as it's asking which
supplier I signed up with but Golden Lounge Casino has been taken
off, so it won't let me go any further.
Does anyone know of another email address I could use to contact them ?
    Thanks.

Can I ask which vouchers you received ?
I ordered M&S on 2nd December and they haven't arrived. Thanks.
