To get a basic phone with a decent camera and flash is rare, how about a Nokia C2-01? normal non-touch screen design, 3.2mp camera with LED flash about £50 on Orange PAYG. Also has an SD card slot so easy to transfer pics to a PC.

Most computers/laptops have a normal size SD Cardreader now, whilst phones take Micro SD cards. But you can buy the Micro SD card with an adaptor included. Take the card out the phone, pop into adaptor, pop into PC, copy off pics. - you can buy something like this in Tesco! a cheap 2GB one would do.

Only downside for you of the C2-01 is it has some of the stuff worrying you like internet capability. If you don't set it up and leave it disabled (mobile data will have its own on/off setting) then you should get used to it easy enough.

Or they know the 113 doesn't have a cable facility. Just a Micro-SD or Bluetooth.

    I don't have a 113.

    thanks for all comments/help.
went back to Orange shop. "you said you only wanted to take the occassional photo - eg car accident. Only way to send photo to computer is to attach to message (text message ?) and send - each photo 25p"
started to lose it a bit there. Asked for a refund/reverse of whole procedure - "NO" . 25p each photo !! Looked at 'next' Nokia (wanted keys not touch screen) £69.99. It had a USB port/cable anda 5 megapixel camera and a flash (should have gone this route!)
I (yes me, ,not shop), mention bluetooth dongles... "We used to sell them - try X/Y/Z shop.
Tried them all and ended up in Maplins £9.99.
Isert disk, set phone to Bluetooth (somehow). Yes, I can Nnow transfer photos.
Moral - dont buy cheap (VGA camera/no flash) and ask more Qs.
Camera will be pretty useless in all but perfect conditions, I feel, but at least is 'useable' now

I think mine is a 6302. I'm still working on contract so I still get new ones every couple of years. Thinking of packing it in though because although it's only £15 a month including VAT I'm not using the phone to any great extent. I'm deliberating on switching to PAYG.

the C2-01 looks just this bizzo. Flash, decent camera, good keylayout.

CPW - 7 day return. Yes, wish I had known !

That's always the way. It's sometimes very difficult to make a choice when all you want is the basics - a sentiment we both share.
