Yes it does, actually it began life as the old Honda V6.
If you're suggesting the KV6 was a development of a Honda engine, I'm afraid you've been misled.
The KV6 was designed and engineered in-house by Rover to replace the 2.7V6 Honda engine which was originally used during the days of the old 827 and Sterling.
The replacement was used in the 825, then subsequently further developed and built by Powertrain for use in the MG ZS and ZT V6, and the 75. It was also used by LR in the Freelander.0 -
If you go Renault then try to avoid electrical gizmos, ie go for the most basic model.
Our Grand Scenic has been a nightmare as far as electronics go, £550 for a handbrake cable (electronic hand brake), £200 for a new instrument console, £200 for replacement electronic key fob, the list goes on, mainly electrical faults.
Engine is sound however but only 30 MPG!
I'd go for a diesel Galaxy myself but it sounds like you don't need a 7 seater enough to warrant the extra expense.Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080
