this is a employee/spin doctor from the above company who has been posting on here recently. she gives everyone false hope and confidence in the company by stating claims will be paid etc when users have very much found to the contary!
she also states if you send her ur details she will look into it, but then gives excuses as to why she cant, obv cos the customer will be proved right.
Its a form of false advertising something which im sure isnt allowed on these boards.

i disagree, i think its a positive step that the companies are posting on here to try and resolve complaints and perhaps also help customers understand the terms and conditions of their deals.
I think although you have had a bad experience this is making you pre-judge a company whereas you will find many people like myself have had literally 100% success rate with e2save, cpw and even osps.
Yes there may be times when they screw up, but remember you need to keep on top of it and follow the guidelines many people like myself have stated about sending bills recorded etc.. And in worst case scenarios intiating legal action through SCC.
I've had a couple of occasions where they say they hadn't received my bill but I ensured I kept chasing and it was sorted.
Cashback deals are not always guarenteed and everyone that takes one out thinking otherwise shouldnt.ummm...0 -

(I'm not saying this directly to you just in general - take no offence!  )
I don't think so. Every company no matter how 'reputable' will try and dodge claims. (Apart from CPW).
You must all follow the strict guidelines. Simple. No poing not following them (TO THE DAMN LETTER!!!!) and then crying about not getting your money back.
People think that the retailer will do all the work!!!!! Thats not true. YOU have to do it! And if you can't be bothered spending a little time sorting and organising your cashbacks, then you deserve your cashbacks to be rejected!0 -

Why apart from CPW?
I've had them try to dodge paying my what they said the would, took weeks and weeks to sort it out.
But would I use them again for another cashback.....Certainly0 -

Sometimes they do screw up - like all companies. So I've had bad experiences with them as well.
But the deciding factor is that they do pay up - and as long as you've got yours stuff sorted it's not a problem. I don't worry about stuff if my cheque hasn't arrived.
I know they will be there tomorrow and so I'm OK.
Unlike E2save/Onestop. I worry when I don't get a cheque!0 -

E2save and Onestop are subsidiaries of cpw aren't they? I have used e2save for the last 9 months and so far so good... applied for my cashbacks and got them fine, they could have a better turnaround period maybe but its pretty good on the whole.
Nick134 I think your are being a little harsh towards e2save. fair enough you had a bad experience but theres no need to go on about them as if they are the devils spawn! The input of the E2Save employee is a positive step, I just hope the individual is acting on behalf of the company and not on their own accord!
With regards to giving your account details over pm here, I personally would not... surely the e2save representitive could phone selected cases to help resolve the matters involved.
My father has a cashback contract with Mobileshop and missed the 6months cashback deadline simply because he forgot! at the time he was on sick leave and to be honest his recovery was more important, I just wish Mobileshop could be more sympathetic and willing to help their customers.SLC: £13000+
Quidco: £131.24 (paid) + £0 (validated) = £131.24
Valued Opinions: £75 (paid) + £52.30 (received) + £4.50 (pending) = £131.80
StudentPanel: £250 -

Yes - but do they say WE PROMISE TO PAY YOUR CASHBACK?????
NO - so even though they are good and my experience with them has been pleasant that doesn't mean I trust them!0 -
If e2save focused more on getting it right there would be no need for 'reps' to be on here attempting to help. I'd rather e2save just be honest in their dealings with customers rather than lie, dodge and try to avoid the inevitble fact that their customers have followed all their petty cashback rules and so should just pay up.
Had two bad expereinces with them this year, basically lied to repeatedly, told things like it takes 120 days to cancel a cheque and 90 days to raise new ones after "lost in the post". More like they were holding back to earn a bit more interest on the money more like it. I work in finance and I've never heard such rubbish in my life about cheques.
Had to email dumbstone at CPW before I could get a sensible response, I didn't actually get any letter/apology/explanation just a cheque, 6 months after it was due to me. How can two cheques from two phone contracts both be lost in the post at different times?. Because they were lies.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -

Cashback deals are not always guarenteed and everyone that takes one out thinking otherwise shouldnt.
i think you are mistaken as yours went through and others didnt and she isnt really resolving issues, ppl want their cashback not advising us to do this or that.
But your main point that cashbacks arent guarenteed is the most ridiculous thing iv ever heard and is partly down to the dishonesty of these companies lowering expectations. You enter into a contract with the company and therefore presuming you stick to your side (which people do) they must stick to their side of the contract, its the same as if u draw up a contract to buy a car, you cant just say "oh its not guarenteed" cos the dealer is dodgy and u may lose out, u have a legal binding agreement. If cashback deals arent feasable for e2save to offer they shouldnt offer them, but they do.0 -

no not directly they arent touting for business, however by advising customers that their products are safe and they do pay up should you stick to the t+c's is evidently a false claim.0
